THIS IS DEPRESSION???

That is how good they are. Doubt what your ears eyes and brain are telling you. Remember the repeated reassurances given in 07 from Bernanke, Paulson et al. In front of God and the world they said no housing bubble....then only a brief correction in housing...then NO serious banking problems that all banks were well capitalized and that they were all closely monitored...then NO chance of a recession... then no chance of a stock market crash .....etc etc. You remember. Of course you do.

But remember last year and this year...when the SAME people including Bush Cheney Geithner tell you NOWthat we were on the verge of collapse at the same time they were standing in front of the public telling us the opposite. Many of us knew things were bad at those points and were stunned at how they lied that everything was "fine" and that any problems were "being handled".

Well that mountain of horseshit has hit the ground and now the greenshoots are sprouting out of it. Can nature renew? Out of horsedung? ....Sure. Do I believe it will be that easy ......absolutely not. Can this facade be extended for awhile longer. Yes. As noted for the past year I have felt they would extend the Ponzi to the 61.8 fibonacci retracement at S&P 1240. It is the maximum allowable fib for market collapses. They exceed that and Nature will intervene. Be happy. Hell they have given you the illusion that alpo isn't going to be your sustaining dinner staple. Not to mention that you still have a money market account to trade with and a market that is open to the public. See...there are benefits of the ponzi so put a smile on your face.

I have a hard time holding my nose and going long in this market which is why I have turned into a "gold bug". So folks ....trade or accumulate miners...but most of all buy physical gold and hold through thick and thin. Enjoy these days now....they are an illusion but then so is most of this ponzi existence we live in. So make an effort to help someone real it will give you a sense of purpose. Real purpose. gl

  1. Thanks Kli, Still reading every day. You have been
Spot on, the whole year. Other blogs like Daneric's Blog with his take on EW and calling all sorts of tops and P3 Wow. What can I say been on hell of a year for the shorts and top callers but I do think we are getting close now to a top the shorts have all but tossed in the towel.
But buying miners has been a very safe and profitable way to go as well as getting the
real hold in your hands metals too. Thanks again

  2. Great post. Pain has a very short memory. But many are still in pain and scared.

All good picks on the miners. I have most of them on my list with the addition of XRA. Algo's seem to like to play XRA and it is volatile so playing it short and long works if your nimble and watch it closely.

I expect the market to make a large move next Thursday or Friday. Since I will be heading back to the states and big moves up or down seems to happen everytime I am traveling and unable to trade. hehehe

  3. Temo,

Today's play is Iron Ore, CNAM. It has had almost 40% haircut from highs of 11, closed at 7 yesterday and today jumped. CBS brought this puppy while back and I like trading it, due to low float and low outstanding shares, this one goes to either direction fast. I am sure kli missed it again, heheee!

  4. Joe,

Big move on CNAM today. I remember CBS mentioning this awhile back.

  5. Temo,

  6. Temo,

In order to be a good trader in this market, you need to have long term memory so you can profit in the short term. Effective hyena pays attention to smallest detail.

  10. Great post. But don't for get to put Obama and Biden in there as well. They were saying that a year ago not so much Bush Chaney. That was a year and half ago. Repub's and Dems all the same. Will say anything to get reelected. We need a credible third party for the common folks. I have added to my miners today GDXJ and Gold

  11. Jeff,

Credible third party is not going to happen, it's too late for all of that since BANKERs power and control has reached 100%. All institutions are under their control. Banking cabal is the true power followed by big corporations.

  12. Also, the REAL BLAME is with the public since they sat on their butt and allowed those with rtesources and ambition to take over. You always reap what you sow. Rich and powerful are not in the business fo justice or sharing piece of the pie with the peasants, the exact WORD they use in private to describe the public.

  13. In life anything that's worth gaining and that includes justice and equality REQUIRES true sacrifice. I do not see it with zombies who believe in the illusion of American dream.

    Joe

  14. One last point, TRUTH always hurts. As I have said before, YOU ARE WHAT YOU DO, NOT WHAT YOU SAY. If majority of the public were truely interested in JUSTICE and well being of the country, they would make the required sacrifices to achieve it which means in ACTION which determines who you really are what they want and ENVY is the wealth and easy life of the rich and powerful, the problem with that is, that concept is just a fucking illusion. The system which encourages greed and me, me, me, is not in line with justice. So every one just be honest with yourselves, you do not want justice since if you did, you would have been willing to make required sacrifices, that's nature's law for humans. Choices, and consequences. Welcome to the game!

  15. Agreed on the points above, the current generation is programmed in this fashion, it is not complacency for justice but self-centeredness, which has the appearance of inaction toward good or lethargy, it is not lethargy, but aggressive pursuit of self, which blinds them to anything bigger than their own little rathole. The media propogates the message that everyone deserves to be rich and famous to align everyone with this one global citizen perspective. Funny how the world "becoming smaller" through technology has used man's greed to make him more isolated from people isn't it? Like the two verses, Men shall become lovers of themselves, and, The love of men shall grow cold. Love themselves, care nothing about common good. It is the way of the world.
On another topic, I did some ponzi alignment by picking up some APR 53 TNA calls with 1 minute left. Should rock the house on Monday. Great setup with an algo stick save at the up trendline, those should rock the house on Monday. Notice the heavy buying at the end while the ponzi loads up and retail chases it down the hill to drown in the ocean? - Analyze.

  16. Edit: Delete one of the repeated sentences, "should rock the house on Monday". Too much editing of my message, or maybe that is self-hypnosis or retrospective justification of effort. - Analyze.

  17. Nice ramp on GORO after gold fell, wonder what that's all about.. Nice strong dollar we have anyway, let's see how far upstream equities can swim against deflation.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Maybe people suspect USD rollover for Monday, UUP bearish volume divergence both on daily and weekly, testing the same resistance level as 2/5 and still in sell mode on the daily should give at least a gap re-test. - Analyze.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Morla, wondered the same about goro--sold most of mine a while ago, have a tiny position. also, Analyze, tna up AH. Good day for buying the miners. Have a good week-end all. - N

  20. hope all of you enjoyed the game today......I was unusually busy at wurk and had little time to engage ..........home now and I am shot.....gl BTW I encourage all of you not to jump dirt bikes twenty feet high off of ramps.....the body does not like it

  21. Shit! I have been cramming all week for the series 7 and couldn't do a dang thing. Did take a position in ego today. I certainly didn't think CNAM was going to pop like THAT today..) Thanks all.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yeah it looks like Joe knocked that CNAM call out of the park this morning. Often I don't pay attention to calls here as I'm really not a trader of late, but maybe this Joe guy is onto something.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Er wait, what timezone is this blog in? Definately not 8:44pm here.. I know CNAM has been mentioned before but maybe Joe's post today was after the move, my bad.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Joe watches CNAM a lot, gap and run, that was a good one. He is a whale-hyena. I am an owl-vulchar. Kli and Temo have not self-labelled yet. -Analyze.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Immred maybe part alligator, not sure. I just realized this labelling is strange...too many charts drives one batty. - Analyze.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Morla, who do you think joe guy is?

    ReplyDelete
  27. kli, how well do you know Joe? Is he really that good?

    ReplyDelete
  28. You have to follow this blog on a regular basis and you will know Joe is very accurate. He is NOT perfect and will tell you that...I talk to Joe virtually everyday.....he knows we are in a mess...and that this is historic....beyond that I will not say too much about him..

    ReplyDelete
  29. Morla, outside of Kli, the rest of the regulars here are just ghosts diving through the dumpster for half eaten cans of Alpo. Some level of privacy is good considering the topics, frankness and who they ultimately impact.

CNAM is now a Chinese government proxy just like PTR, PBR and GS except with a low float, so you trade those knowing that.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I will tell you that I can confirm Joe speaks at least six languages....hi IQ...ridiculous memory...can quote ghandi to churchill extensively during conversation with rarely missing a word....market knowledge also extensive ....better than overall knowledge of economy AND market than virtually anyone I have followed in the mainstream.Extremely well read in many subjects......thats nuff said....hope thats nuff cuz thats all I'm sayin

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks kli, I think I have an idea now who Joe really is based on your statements, my goodness!

  32. Anon.. you must be new to this board. Joe is exceptional.

  33. anon,

kli is full of shit in his description of me, immred described me well. I am just an average person diving through the dumpster looking for half eaten can of alpo. Welcome to the group, hope you enjoy kli's blog.

  34. Folks... anyone wondering if the government will chose to seize the miners instead of the citizen's gold this time? They say history never repeats, but it does rhyme.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I heard analyze has an IQ well below 100 in the retard range.
