PERFECT WEATHER update VII...eod and more

Does it get any better? Oh...there is that little Amazon glich. I guess you can explain away their miss in this "rebounding" economy. All of this pentup consumer demand willing to "pay up" for all of their junk didn't receive the memo last quarter. What I find telling is that all of the weather out east should have strenthened them against the big box retailers. You know that ALL the numbers were "massaged" for Amazon too which makes their miss all the more telling for the overall health of the consumer and our CONSUMER ECONOMY. What a complet joke. A consumer economy. Are you kiddin me? What kind of country is the leader of the world with a CONSUMER ECONOMY. I'll tell you what kind......how about Great Britain in the last years of its decline. You know....right before it lost the Sterling as the world's reserve currency.

I love how the GDP miss today is being spun. You throw trillions at an economy and even the "massaged" numbers can't reach the estimates. We aren't shocked here and most Americans are sickened by the lies. The promise of change and transparency have long since been forgotten.

The phony pundits on CNBS are saying how this is NOTHING compared to the 70's. Implying the 70s was worse. OMG ...the 70s are nothing compared to this. This is going to make the 70s look like a walk in the park.

The market today appears to be treading water to get the Egyptian turmoil contained. I have no crystal ball on Egypt but I'm sure the Iranian playbook of shooting a few young people and leaving them in the street will work just fine to quell the need for change. Remember though ...these are OUR dictators in Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Yemen etc. that are being toppled. This is OUR empire being dismantled. BTW this is why I took most of my DTO trade off yesterday.

Remember 600 Billion. Its here and more is coming. I'm not listing the core today but you can nibble on pullbacks and trade short term buys too. gl

update VI....what a day!!! My sources are saying that Mubarak is on his way out of Egypt as I type....NO CONFIRMATION from media yet. What you are witnessing today is the impact of years of OUR middle east policy coming to a head. Without going into detail I will only add that the Bernank Banking cabal has lit a fire under every unstable government in the world with their poison. QE is breaking apart the populations in these Emerging Markets. Unless we are able to pull a rabbit out of our asses here this ponzi is in big trouble. GL to all I hope you understand the ramifications of what is happening. BTW did you notice who was absent today? hehehhehehe gl to all.

update VII and more....conspiratorial but interesting..

  1. I can't help but notice that there is a gap now on CCME. You have to wonder if the shorts will at some point try to drive CCME back down there. Might be a good place for a buy order. Might sell covered calls on the though that the gap will be in play.
    Thoughts??

    ReplyDelete
  24. Correct HB it is all part of the "control" that exists in that region by the "banksters". We really aren't any different here....ie we are a powder keg here too....in the meantime...this COULD escalate to a monster move in the middle east...it does NOT end tomorrow.....could it be a Black Swan? yes...BUT...that is only seen over time...watch for a CONTAGION next week...that is the danger. As for the Tea Party, heavily infiltrated by fascist elements of the cabal. Stick with Alpo at least you know what's in it.

Very important to have a sanctuary and possible bug out plan when the music stops.

  32. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/jan/28/egypt-police-brutality-torture-wikileaks

The police use brutal methods mostly against common criminals to extract confessions, but also against demonstrators, certain political prisoners and unfortunate bystanders. One human rights lawyer told us there is evidence of torture in Egypt dating back to the time of the pharoahs. NGO contacts estimate there are literally hundreds of torture incidents every day in Cairo police stations alone," one cable said.

Under Hosni Mubarak's presidency there had been "no serious effort to transform the police from an instrument of regime power into a public service institution", it said. The police's ubiquitous use of force had pervaded Egyptian culture to such an extent that one popular TV soap opera recently featured a police detective hero who beat up suspects to collect evidence.

    got to love wikileaks

  33. Sorry HB but have yet to hear a good old fashioned shoot out at a Tea Party rally and not that I'm defending "Beck et al" l but if you listen to him he speaks of many of the same topics that are discussed here! Personal responsibility, Good & Evil and Gold ;) We are all owned and true power lies with in the individual not in some government building or palace. Protest peacefully, force will be met with more force that's what they want. Whole lotta bashing by the PTB on both sides and media of Tea Party. Tea Party, ie: We the People scare
    the s#$t out of u'm!

    ReplyDelete
  34. As Red stated....Tea Party was infiltrated by elements of the Cabal within a month of its inception. See Denningers recent statements on how they did it...anyway...so count on your Alpo...it may sound depressing.....because it IS..

  48. sorry to hear HB....dont do sutures just clean the wound and use steri strips ....

    ReplyDelete
  49. HB
If you are serious about the "1.5 inch gash", it should get sutured. Usually, sutures should be done within 8 hours, however, you are allowed more time on the face & scalp.
As far as the Syncope, you should get worked up if it hasn't been done in awhile. If you haven't had a "Tilt-table Test", you should ask your MD about it.

    Sister
    I looked up the data.
The top of the candle (CCME) on 1/26 was 19.77 and the bottom of the candle on 1/27 was 20.43. So, the gap is from 19.77 to 20.43.

Going on 9 hours now....too late for sutures? Hopefully?

  54. HB,
Sutures should be OK at 9 hours since injury is on your head. An Urgent-care type center should be able to put them in. Get an opinion there.

UEC lost support at the 20 & 50 day ema, so, could get ugly.

  56. HB - take care of yourself please.

Re TP and Beck, Beck just making a buck and feeding his ego. Many TP people are okay, leadership is wanting and many (not most) participants seem to almost be anarchists.

It was a void that needed filling, and the original incarnation under Ron Paul was okay but it morphed. As my father use to say years ago, what intelligent, well grounded, honest person would want to become a politician? He called them all failed lawyers, unable even to be a lawyer.

This of course, is all in my humble opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  57. from trader dan....I will repeat – the Federal Reserve of the US is exporting runaway inflation across the entire globe with its reckless policy of QE. Bernanke has hubristically asserted in his interview on “60 minutes” late last year that “this fear of inflation is overstated”. We need to record this for history to make certain that it is not forgotten or dismissed. Try telling that to the leaders of the nations across the globe who are now dealing with riots and anarchy in their streets. I am sure that they will take comfort from Ben’s words.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Homer: TP not supposed to have central leadership though some Pretenders claim to carry the mantle and Your Dad is a Genius!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Hey Tom thanx - yes, the idea is fantastic, execution so far...rocky. I think they/we will get there eventually, but it will come from much pain and much upheaval. And that is the fault of the current regime (30 to 40 years of it), they actually had a chance to make things right and they made it worse, hubris, holier than thou, above the law. I think we agree on the goal.

Reminds me of a line from the American President, people in the absence of leadership will listen to anyone who steps up to the mike. Doesn't mean its bad, but it does depend on who steps up.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Watch APA & BG.L...huge exposure to Egyptian oil and gas production. Change in regime could set off contractual alterations that could have a severe impact on these companies. Not sure if you guys play them, but a heads up.

  64. Seems like the "exporting of inflation"isn't likely to slow down anytime soon. Food inflation in the Middle East is ramped and will find its way around the globe like a plague. So in addition to precious metals...you guys like farm land? Have always had a thing for cows ;) jk!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Absolutely love farmland...so do a lot of "investors"....problem is ...it didn't collapse with the housing market....buy only what you can afford

    ReplyDelete
  66. BTW Red you can tell this is all planned by us...they aren't trotting out all of the neocon pundits criticizing O... It smacks of planning. I would guess this is just regime change by us. But I am seeing (so far) a supportive neocon punditry.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Faux Pas Regime Change, alternative Zionist candidates groomed , unfortunately the current contender doesn't like the idea of being thrown out of power or to the wolves after years of loyal service, sound familiar ? Tunisia , Iraq. Good excuse for profit taking in broader markets; however the speculation in the commodities market along with possible real shortages will add gasoline to a very volatile situation. What happens when you run out of Middle East tyrants to throw under the bus? People start looking elsewhere and chaos spreads while the Rothschilds/Rockefellers plan the next vacation in either Switzerland or Argentina.

Wild Card is food supplies and simultaneous revolts in the nearby Arab Dictatorships. What gets people more angry than not being able to play Mafia Wars or download porn? Going hungry and thirsty.

    ReplyDelete
  68. HB, Kli, et al
Personally I find the discussion of Beck, TP and put downs of both a waste of bandwith and storage. But, since it is here I will waste some bandwith and storage.

Beck is different. IMO differences are good - it sure would be a dull world if everyone was the same. Since when is telling people to prepare for the worst and hope for the best bad advice as Beck does. Why is telling people the problem starts with them and first they need to fix themself bad?

Why is touting MLK, Gandi, Jesus as models bad? On second thought they were all killed for teaching love and tolerance - so maybe we should all get AK47s and hate people who are different.

As to the TP - I find people participating in the democratic process and debate a good thing (instead of trying to silence them). I was quite active in Perot's run for the president in the 90s (as I should have been because I felt he was the best person for the office).

FWIW - I am libertarian and believe the TP is too damn liberal. :>)

man I love you guys...nice to see you posting red...

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hi Inlet - agreed a waste of bandwidth. but please, different does not make it better. Again, there is a void created by our HORRIBLE system. Is whatever fills that void necessarily good? I think not. Does something need to be done, yes. My displeasure is with the current incarnation of those candidates and followers (the more vocal one). At the risk of alienating folks, Sarah Palin is dead from the neck up. Beck inflames, I have no tolerance for folks that get followers by preaching or insinuating intolerance. The TP can be so much more than they are, the many folks that were voted in under that "ticket", and are worthy of serving the public, were overshadowed by the few folks who were admitted imbeciles running on the TP ticket. New York, Maryland, California, list goes on and on.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Kli:

"I can't believe you are that cynical Red......this is good business for the Cabal....ya know....that lil "fomenting terrorism"....then "fomenting Islamic extremism"....then "fomenting defense spending"...No way to lose...."

After reading Update VII you might be on to something.... However, if said update is true how can the PTB take such a risk not being able to factor in all the intangibles?

Are they that arrogant and self serving to play with Pandora's Box?

    BTW: Inlet Bravo!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  72. All I can say, is we (as citizens) do not have to simply say, "there...that's my party", do or die I support it. The ideal is best expressed by the TP, but to assume everyone who is a part of "your party" is golden, well, that is a problem.

The ideal is to question, hold up to a higher standard and make sure they support you and what you believe in. Old school politics. We will get there but not quite sure how and it ain't the current crew of TPers (leaders).

I'll stop now as I know this is inflammatory to some. But what the TP stands for is what we need, just not the current crew who are there and mouthing off.

    Again, just my humble opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Homer -

I never said different is good. I said the world would be a dull place if we were all the same.

At least Beck encourages (multiple times per show) people to do their own fact checking. He uses people's own words (video outtakes) to indict them. If this inflames them then maybe they should say less. I did not even know who Beck was until the left started indicting him. So I wondered - "who the hell is this guy" and did my own fact checking. Beck has no power except his ability to communicate (ditto Palin) so WTF about them bothers you so much?

I think for myself so I find it quite humorous how upset people get with Beck and Palin (yes - you). And, I appreciate you entertaining me with your comments. Don't you know when you are being jerked around? They have your number.

As to party - I have no party affilation and when the Libertarian Party has a viable candidate I vote for them. It is not a matter if they win (the odds are they won't), but it is a matter of principle because I detest voting for the lesser of two evils. So when I have a principled choice I take it.

As I said I think the TP is too damn liberal. That was no joke - just the truth.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Homer - I hope you understand the distinction between differences and different..

    ReplyDelete
  75. Inlet, for God's sake! Homer said absolutely nothing to warrant your WTF response....let's keep it civil, shall we?

Also in the interest of civility, I won't be responding to your astonishing comments at all. I know my limits.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I'll answer the questions posed, yes I understand the distinction, thank you for asking. ;-)

"Beck has no power except his ability to communicate (ditto Palin) so WTF about them bothers you so much? "

They don't bother me, the message and some of the people they attract (not you) just disturb me. Again, they are filling a void and I think we will get to where we need to be eventually with their tenets.

And is history not littered with people who "just communicate" and turn that into something more, both good and bad?

"As to party - I have no party affiliation and when the Libertarian Party has a viable candidate I vote for them. It is not a matter if they win (the odds are they won't), but it is a matter of principle because I detest voting for the lesser of two evils. So when I have a principled choice I take it. "

Well said, if people who knew me saw that, they would swear it was a comment from me.

So apologies if I inflame, I take it from the WTF and humorous comments I did. But these are simply my opinions, please pretend I am just sitting across the dinner table expressing them in a friendly manner as that is all I am trying to do. Exchange ideas.

  79. When Joe posted about PZG a few days ago I put in a small limit order in the low 3s (I am so cheap) and I missed it by a penny. Oh well, agreed it looks like the 2's might indeed be a lost cause now.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Homer - no you didn't inflame me. The WTF was a Sarah Palin quote on "Winning The Future" - thought surely you would get "that" - I was making a joke. The knocking of conserative commentators by the liberal left has been going on since the 90s (Rush Limbaugh).

The truth is the more the left attacks them the more they boost their audience share and the richer they make them. Sarah made a mint on her books (as does Beck). I am sure they appreciate the attention - all the way to the bank.

So I say go for it - attack away - enable them and make them rich. JMHO
