MONDAY HANGOVER

Many members of the cabal are perplexed by the actions of their IMF head. They are asking themselves the questions over and over. Why would a well educated, very rich, very powerful Frenchman in a posh Manhattan hotel suite......be taking a shower? These questions just don't add up for the puppetmasters. Certainly they didn't appreciate him chasing the young maid around the hotel suite....at his age he could have had a heart attack. Typically he would have just stood still and waved a handfull of fiat in the air, waiting for his conquest to be lured back into his lair. I'm sure these matters will remain a source of consternation for his cohorts in the halls of wealth and power.

Meanwhile back at the ranch miners were showing early strength and and I added a small GPL EGO PSLV AG. The rest of the complex looks tepid.

Remember a lot of technical damage has been done to the commods and precious metal complex so a consolidation range for a few weeks would be very healthy. As usual I never trust them so a small core position buildup is now in progress. I may be a "buy and hold" guy now......hehhehe. We'll see. Silver would be very nice if it touched 40 and pulled back this week. Lets see if they can pull it off. Gold should remain steady in a range bound area for several more weeks. 1430 would be nice again.

have a nice day and gl

  1. Rudemood I agree an eductation is better than not one for sure..College also helps for networking etc social etc....I almost am starting to think the IMF head was set up...Someone knew his weaknesses and probably set him up for their power run...From what I read he had some earleir run ins with this kind of stuff before...Maid was probalby a fox and his small head over ruled his big head...

  7. When education is discussed.....the kind of education that Maybury and Joe discussed that you do not get is in civics and the "real economy" ....that will never be given to the masses. It is all carefully crafted now to keep the sheeple ignorant. The curriculum was completely manipulated in the 30s through the 70s to eliminate the values of the constitution and HISTORY that allowed the current Fascist (Corporatocracy) to gain complete control. baaaa

    ReplyDelete
  8. What they do not teach you in high school or college is the history of banking system, who runs the show, how money is manipulated, what's the purpose of power, foriegn policy, CIVICs,,,etc. The good education you can receive is in high tech area, Medicine. If you go to college and get a degree in biomedical Engineering, you can line up a good paying job, if you are an excellent programmer you can get a job with Google. So when education is discussed you all need to be careful what type of EDUCATION you are refering to.

  9. I thinks some cracks are beginning to appear in this "Corporatocracy". Some sheep may turn out to be Rams.

Bought some July QID calls today. They are working out so far.

  10. The main reason you and your parents did not receive real education is because SYSTEM only wants obedient workers, not independent thinkers. The more ignorant the subjects are the easier to control them. If public would have got real education, they would not be kept busy with democrat vs Republican and false sense of what patriotism really is. No system ever gives their public REAL education, the difference is the public of some countries are more AWARE than others.

  19. ugly drop for drys, would like to see it break under 4.00, may take awhile to chip away at this support at $4.15 area.

  20. Oh ok..(vrml).good to hear you like story as well this stock was over $30 2 yrs ago and now they have a better story IMO...Ineed LNG TO pop....

  21. dj,

If VRML requires secondary offering to raise cash due to fast usage then it could get ugly, have you done DD to see how much cash they have and whether they will start raising more soon or not?

  22. HNR has been taking a beating lately. It seems more than just getting caught in the general commod sell-off. Is it a falling knife or can we add at these levels? I have a core with a basis in the 12s, so already in the red. Hold, buy, or sell?

  23. re VRML

On February 18, 2011, we completed a sale of 4,000,000 shares of our common stock in an underwritten follow-on public offering at a price of $5.45 per share. Net proceeds of the offering were approximately $20.2 million. The Company utilized $3.4 million in cash and cash equivalents during the first quarter and expects $4-$5 million cash utilization during the second quarter

  24. HNR has been a falling knife bud......sit tight ......

  28. yes I did chk for offerings Joe but last week stock traded over 16 million shares 2 times float...High was 7.60 so since Friday they have taken this stock back to 4's..IMO we have never the small investor been on an even playing field..It is easy to trade fictious shares or be naked when your an instiution...The longs them selves bought the float up last week...LOL...SO After I trade my 4 postions hopefully in next 6 months I am out of this casnio if not sooner I have had enough for a while...

    ReplyDelete
  29. i doubt anyone really cares , but I took a nibble at DRYS at $4.08, i know i am probably little early but i have had some success in the past on this turd. I guess DRYS could possibly tag $3.40 , but my guess is it finds support no lower than $3.78. my target for buying was $3.90 to 3.96 but my impatience gets the best of me.

  30. As with the silver trade thay can do what they want raise margins upteen times to surpress prices...This is a very very corrupt times we live in.....IMO....

  31. Joe regarding a PIPE on VRML hell even if they announced it now I would not care price is down so much I could care a less now....its all a joke to me now...I have gotten cynical as hell....big boys wnat it down it goes down they want it up it goes up...no free markets anywhere.....

  32. dj.....this is has been the biotech game for years now...I used to play biotech heavy many years ago and became disgusted with how easily the big hedges could rape a good company and literally destroy a promising drug....but that is the biotech game...My first big experience to biotechs was Genentech in the 80s ....watta raping.....

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm right there with ya dj...some acquaintances starting to wake up, they're preaching to the choir...today a great example...anyone here holding bonds? I'm sitting out except some toe-dipping in miners and holding core. Kli what's your take on anv, I still hold--it started out well this morning up over 5%, of course didn't hold...

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yea and I thought I would not be able to buy it where I did...Damn stupid move for me..I hate being a bagholder but my plan is to sell off my 4 stocks for profits hopefully in next 6 months and GTFO of this circus...Cheers and thks for input I really apprecaite it....

    ReplyDelete
  35. Nancy... ANV looks like its going to bounce but its RSI remains well below the 50.....could be a consolidation move for several weeks with support in the 30 area. Overall $HUI needs some time to heal its damage. May be dead money for a few weeks until the eurozone starts to burn ....this is one dangerous equity market right now and I am in 60% cash

    ReplyDelete
  36. This market HAS NOTHING to do with fundamentals....it is designed to inflict maximum pain on traders retail and non designated hedges.....shake them out then buy their shares cheap and run it up just when everyone is crushed

    ReplyDelete
  37. Thanks so much...there's always a method to their madness...just look at exk! I have lotsa cash, too...appreciate everything so much, you and your blog are about the only thing I trust these days! Must say the action when dollar is down and so are markets makes me very nervous, nasdaq esp. ugly today...

    ReplyDelete
  38. Market action today stinks.......this thing smells like it wants to tank.....which makes me think they are going to try and rip it over 1400 before QE runs out.....but I'm not betting MY money on it.....just a little of it maybe...

    ReplyDelete
  39. I agree with Joe if you go to college go for hard sciences or something technical. You'll learn more muting a Bernanke speech and listening to a Pink Floyd album than going for an economics degree.

    ReplyDelete
  40. My nephew is getting an Econ degree :(. It is from U. Chicago and he did get a full ride (they even pay him to go to study sessions), so he should turn out ok. He is jaded enough that he doesn't want to work for any of the banks.

I always tried to take classes in things I couldn't pick up on my own watching the history channel. Lots of math and physics.

  41. "this thing smells like it wants to tank.....which makes me think they are going to try and rip it over 1400 before QE runs out...."

    kli,

interesting observation. if the mkt is going to scream higher, they better pull the rabbit out of the hat and do it soon. i agree, with you, something doesnt seem right, from appearances it seems like easy cash to short the shit out of the mkt, but to take the spx to 1400 they had to take it down a notch , to push it up. maybe you are right, they are setting the table. any sectors you maybe be targeting if a run to 1400 takes place?

  42. Doc trader - GL on those QID calls.

Morla - I think Obama could have used an economics course or two along with a couple of basic math courses.

Actually micro-economics with the mathematical modeling was interesting. My degree was in math (the economics majors found it less interesting and resented a math major ruining the curve. lol ).

I read that student debt exceeds CC debit and I am thinking WOW!! I do not understand racking up all that debt to go to college. If you are poor enough there is a lot of help (ie Pell grants and other aid). I worked 20-30 hours a week and did the Co-op program to pay for college - it wasn't easy but by the time I got through college I already had the equivalent of 2 years experience with computers. The debt I had was very minor when I finished college.

If I could have afforded it would I have gone elsewhere to college? Probably, but it wasn't worth racking up huge debt.

  43. Kli, you outlook for the commods seem to be pretty much what my analysis is suggesting. Several weeks (into early July at least) for things to get sorted out and the hope of any sustained uptrend.

    ReplyDelete
  44. IF they take it to 1400 it will be sector rotation as usual with energy leading...

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm not sure how we get this proposed rally to 1400.

    1) Record inside selling
    2) very high margin use for equities
    3) end of QE2 and needing reason for QE3
    4) we are entering the summer

All these give pretty strong reasons for the market to decline.

I can see PM's range trading for the next several months if this happens. I really want to be wrong on this.

    ReplyDelete
  46. if you see volume and strength in energy the first of June then they are going to 1400

Point taken about microeconomics, I'm sure there are good applications in non-ponzi industries.
