NOT GONNA WORK

Sorry Ben. You are just whistlin' past the graveyard. You can't really believe that you can control the price of commodities with you Margin requirement raises?? I really do appreciate your efforts since I am short oil however, but its not going to work. You cannot control commodity prices with these tricks, but you can affect a change short term. What you are doing however is even more dangerous. You are removing liquidity from these markets. You are killing many of the smaller players who are destroyed by your manipulation. They are leveraged and when they get those margin calls its all over for them......permanently. They're gone. Your big boyz and their satellite hedges are all in on the game so they aren't even scratched....not to mention many are short. Its a grand scheme.

Are you going to raise margins on the grains and live cattle futures??? How about cocoa or sugar Ben? You could really do some good for a lot of hungry people, but then you know its not ultimately going to work. Ultimately the effects of what you are doing will create a much more dangerous market.

We are in a supercycle of commodity price growth and I believe we are looking at five to ten more years of price explosions, so hang on to your hats. This is our future and its not going to be like anything we have seen in our lifetimes.

Gold and silver need to base and they will ( i hope)...lets see where they range....is 33 the bottom??? gl gang

  7. silver trade REALLY needs to have the froth beat out of it over the next few weeks so be patient everyone...stand back and just take the range trade scalps...or JUST STAND BACK...that does not mean puke up your core here if you are a buy and hold person....but for traders that read this blog hold tight......

  8. oh..they care......if it goes to over 106 and holds you can stick a fork in the facade of a recovery......politics does play a role......nothing is certain of course but practicality does have a role here...... we'll see....I dont expect a crash in oil......just a nice tapping

  9. They already have damaged the recovery...push oil up higher and they will load up with oil shorts to take down market when they move it much higher......

  15. Kli,

what is your guess with oil if your $106 target hits? do you think that the PTB would continue to drive it up? i am actually contemplating firing another bullet at DTO if oil gets up to $106.

  17. This silver movement is a real mess. Everyone is calling for a top here between 38 and 41. Silver originally dropped mainly because of margin calls. Looks like everyone ran to the other side of the boat. I can envision a rigged short squeeze for all those that are shorting up here. We could get a manipulated short squeeze aided by big buyers who really do want delivery, even at $40+. That would throw this thing to the mid 40's where everyone jumps long again thinking the correction is over. This sends it higher again, but then what is the new margin requirement that will cause it to crash at that time? Sigh. I play to much chess. Of course the miners would stay in turmoil, being shorted until fundamentals catch up.

  20. "CRYP has closed again today above its 200 day ema. Volume was low though."

CRYP is on a nice little low volume run since it retested $1.35 a little over a week ago Amaya and Thousand Hills Limited have continued to purchase shares of CRYP. would like to see it get over $1.80

  21. Horatio, I share your assessment with regards to silver. I have no idea what's going to happen near term. I have some PSLV for the long term side, but added some ZSL and in the red right now, so I probably shorted too soon for a trade. I should probably just buy little amounts of PSLV on the dips and stay from all else.
