IT'S STRUCTURAL STUPID!!

Before we get into this week's market plays a brief word to those that still think we are on the road to recovery. We are driving this bus further over the cliff and still asking the same people for directions. Some sensible people may as the appropriate question who got us? Big business? Big Government? The Socialist(whoever the hell that is) Big Labor? (yeh right) Sure.....they all did and more. Greed and stupidity. Most of which we can look into a mirror and take full credit for. Many of us voted for these clowns over the years and worked tirelessly to support their ideas of "free markets" and "deregulation"......while your country was being picked clean by the money interests. In 1980 there were just a little over 3000 registered lobbyist in DC. Today there are over 300,000 registered lobbyist in DC. Do you think they are adding to your country's future well-being?

My next line should be "If you want to fix our structural problems then money has to be removed from the control of our government". Seriously? Do you think I really believe that it is worth the time to even bring that point up? Why? This game is over. It was over a long time ago and we just watched it happen. So all of you can go back to your coffee an bemoan your devaluing dollar and chinese goods you're consuming today. You can watch your MSM give you shots of Sarah Palin in leather and a motorcycle while your country rots and the world burns.

I'm playin' in the casino today instead. I like to watch numbers. Its a fascination for me. Right now I see a base forming in the miners and its a big one. It "could" go on for several months so don't get in a tizz. I'll let CNBS chatter about all the hoopla surroundin raising the debt limit. (nonsense...of course they will) Let the Middle East breakout into full blown Civil War. Oil needs to be even higher to fulfill GS' 135 call. Along these lines that's why Joe's new darling FCEL is worthy of some special looks. It's real. Its works. Its being used now for energy. Its cheap here and a position is to be HELD. Do your own DD but what do you really want to own in this crooked casino? ........besides gold and silver...gl gang

  9. GO WEST young man....

Nicemini.....I really like CFW and picked up some which may mean its got further to slide...hehehhe

    ReplyDelete
  10. The bottom for CFW during the market crash of 2008/2009 was around 0.25, Outstanding shares/ float is low enough and I agree this is a good one risk/reward wise.

    ReplyDelete
  11. sorry KLI and JOE.....I would imagine you both are not as fortunate as me in owning a minivan so the name is brian....

    ReplyDelete
  12. Brian,

I like your call on CFW, this one has good risk/reward. Nancy, Jim, Kenny, and Homer, start buying CFW. Red, even cheapy like you should like CFW.

  13. EXK tested 9 on Friday and now tested that again today.
Just does not seem to be breaking out though.

  14. someone likes Dcth under 5.20...what a whipsaw
RXII made mad dash at open..its since come down, up seems next...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Chuck,

Do you have any CFW, the downside seems to be about 0.15 from where it is now?

    ReplyDelete
  16. looks like CSUN is in a bit of trouble, unless it has found support here, it seems it could go down to $2.18 and then under $2.00. any thoughts on this Joe?

    ReplyDelete
  17. dcth is moving fast now...someone knows something...jeffries conference tomm..

    no cfw as of yet...

    ReplyDelete
  18. Rudemood,

CSUN was a trade and I no longer own it. CFW is also considered a trade, if it gets to 0.50 or 0.55 then it would be time to pull the trigger. Obviously there is a good reason why most of these stocks are low, look at most of them from trade perspective not investment.

    ReplyDelete
  19. CFW only has $1M in cash and debt and expenses around $100M which explains why it's sitting at current price, so when I said I agree with Brian, it meant for a trade since even crappy stocks can get pushed up by MMs and hedge funds, this is not an investment, it's worth the gamble for trade only but it's a trade which you might have to sit on a for while and that's why I said even nancy and homer might get 0.10 to 0.20 upside from this junk. What the heck it's only a 0.40 stock.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Even at just a trade CFW is attractive around 0.29-0.31, something not quite right about a oil and gas play that can't keep its head above water. Technically would want it to bottom out on the daily.

Would rather wait for the LDK when the S&P gets smacked sub 1275.

FCEL is in a very competitive and expensive raw materials, manufacture field. Good for a trade not exactly investment at this point.

  21. joe
sold aen making a bid on cfw jim beat me to the punch he likes to do that thanks brian i like this play

    ReplyDelete
  22. Red,

FCEL because of the contract they got would be attractive if they take it down to 1.20 or 1.30s, we shall see what the stock does after earnings today, earnings won't be good, the issue is what does the contract they got with S.Korea is going to do later on, I like to see MMS hammer FCEL down to low 1s.

  23. check out this chart....

    http://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=ORS&ty=c&ta=0&p=m

    whoa nellie...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Chuck,

That's what happens when a stock like ORS only has 2.5m outstanding shares with float of 2M which is extremly low, when buying pressure starts stock can double or triple with only 1 to 2M volume, heheeeeeeeee!

    ReplyDelete
  25. no problem DOG....I have learned from the master AKA..."bigtalker"......lol...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Joe,

Did you see the 07 price?....yikes...just an observation..It's not in my sights...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Brian,

    What's your target for CFW?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Joe, target is .64......however if your in the casino playing then .82 would take me to the promise land.....

    ReplyDelete
  29. Joe,
    http://www.stockta.com/cgi-bin/analysis.pl?symb=CFW&num1=1&cobrand=&mode=stock

    ReplyDelete
  30. Brian,

It could very well get there, seems like couple of sessions ago it bottomed around 0.31 and short squeeze along with fresh buying can take it to your target.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Chuck think positive now.....DCTH, WEST, CFW, ORS, AEN, ADES either going vertical or on the launching pad......a man of your stature has to be playing on of these if not all????

    ReplyDelete
  32. Brian,
Stepping out of casino...its getting worse...the
Rxii beat down is final straw....

    ReplyDelete
  33. chuck chuck chuck......I'm feelin' the negative vibes....heheheheh.....controlled takedown ....my guess prolly another week before they roll it up into the end of the month...would i bet my money on that......NO way.....hehhehehe...but I'll bet a lil

    ReplyDelete
  34. Joe,

I was looking at CSUN from a trade perspective, looks like it could be a good spot to short it. if it breaks down here, i could easily go to $2.00, thats atleast a 10 percent move.

    ReplyDelete
  35. miners look like the MACD's are rollin' over for another move to test their next levels....

    ReplyDelete
  36. Kli, such is life...controlled takedowns or not....I'm joining Red...just need to clear out one more trade..taking the summer off...can't play against the computers...just too fast for my style of investing...my issue, definitely not someone elses...

    cheers and good trading...

    ReplyDelete
  37. chuck,

You should have done well with RXII, you brought it up when it was 0.98 and went up to 1.65 today, depending on number of shares you had must have been a profitable trade for you. Market overall is crap but so what? I agree with brian, there are beaten down stocks out there which has nothing to do with where freaking S&P is sitting. As long as you remain a sharp trader you can make good coin even in bad market.

    ReplyDelete
  38. By the way chuck, I have done very well doing the opposite of what RED suggests especially in the daily, I love Red but when it comes to trading I usually do the opposite of what he mentions and it works to perfection for me, heheeeeeeeeee!

    ReplyDelete
  39. seemed like a bit of panic selling going on. wonder if this thing finds support now.

    ReplyDelete
  40. chuck....take some time off......unfortunately there's only one casino...its the only game

  42. This post made me laugh. Joe's darling FCEL...like other darlings such as HNR, CNAM?

    Lolz.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Fitzy,

Nice try but no Cigar for you, if you read the conversation between me and Red while back you would have known I shorted CNAM heavy and as far as HNR, that was Kli's puppy. Pay attention, I am a trader and that means at any moment I scalp a stock. Get your facts straight before opening your mouth. Assumption is the mother of all mistakes. By the way make sure not to make a mistake, I gladly will take your money with no EMOTION.

    ReplyDelete
  44. hehehe fitzy....Joe warned me on a trade two years ago.....he told me he would wipe me out if I did it...150K later I closed the trade....if I had held I'd trippled my losses.....no emotion

    ReplyDelete
  45. I remember closing that trade.....pain for a day then on to the next strategy.....took me 6mo to recoup.....

    ReplyDelete
  46. Fitzy....dont know how long you have been watchin this board but keep in mind as KLI puts it....this is not your casino and second and foremost dont piss off Joe cuz he will short your ass into bankruptcy

  48. Effectively spotting and day trading POS stocks is an art form, doesn't matter which way the overall market goes. Joe has both the knowledge, skills, time and resources. As for the rest if they want to play it will only get more brutal as those POS stocks will be one of the few things you can make or lose money very quickly.

If your paper position is more than 2 years in terms of buy and hold you will be taken out to the back of the woodshed.

  55. I've noticed an interesting shift taking place in the economy, particularly in my neck of the woods (CT). It's as if there are dual economies. There’s a fairly decent number of high paying jobs, in certain fields for those with a distinct skill set. I’ve been seeing those bastaads driving around in Maseratis and Ferraris more and more often. Meanwhile, the remaining sheep are struggling to get by, even in a relatively wealthy area like Fairfield County. I'm sure this divergence is taking place in other areas, just not sure to what extent. And it’s more than the ‘rich get richer’, it’s actually a dual economy, maybe it’s the new normal. Those who are well positioned and are able to adapt will prosper, the others will be fed to the lions. Very troubling.

  56. SammyH, I see that where I am as well. We haven't been effected by housing price drops that much. There are many people who seem to be doing fine, though they would like lower gas prices. Those who have had a set back with employment, haven't been able to get up from it. They stay down.

    ReplyDelete
  57. ken sammy.....this is a mirage too. Soon to disappear as the nuveau riche are destroyed by the tides of nature. However the true wealth will endure as it always has....A rude awakening is due for many still living the hedonistic/beyond their means lifestyle......tick tick tick
