WHAT'S THE NEXT RABBIT?

Surely you must appreciate a beautiful beatdown of commodities. The silver beatdown. The oil reserves release and beatdown. The Corn report and beatdown. Only the best for our masters of the universe.

Unfortunately my weekend was spent recuperating from an illness but at least some of my time was productive. During my illness I managed to spend some time with three separate Corn producers that all said the same. The corn crop is a DISASTER. Yet the report stated it was an excellent plant. The eyewitness reports of one of producers was in IOWA Minnesota and Missouri.... the other producer was Illinois. The Illinois producer barely got his crop in but many of his friends have had trouble. So how could this report be so far off?

We already know that silver is totally manipulate as is gold. Time is on your side. This is all a stall tactic that is playing out. Eventually the market will win out.

Once I get back on my feet in a day or two I should be trading again. Hope you all had a great holiday. gl

Trying to catch up ...maybe this will tell you what's going to happen..

  5. Mr. Kli,

Miners looking good today. EGO very nice pop. $HUI at serious resistance (50day). could have legs, charts look healthy. MACD looks like it is getting close to crossing on the weekly chart. RSI defineatly not at an extreme level. backtest and fail or the next big leg up?

  9. SVM news today is big, also found out the company's cost of producing silver is at $5 an ounce at stocks current price and adding Gold production to its mix and wowww, this puppy seems like it bottomed at 8 and resistance is around 11.90, in April it was trading at $16 a share and couple of weeks ago CEO announced shares buy back and with today's good news, mmmmmmmm!

  10. kli is tough, he has been working a lot lately and hopefully he will feel better soon so I can resume giving him a hard time, it keeps him sharp and he never complains about himself, I like that about him. He is not allowed to stay sick unless it's done by me.

  26. I've been traveling all day. Spent a few days on harvest. I talked to some intelligent Ag folk this weekend. They all agree that the corn report is crap. They have been talking with people who are saying that a lot of corn has not been planted and that it looks to be a disaster. They think it is all manipulation and pointed out that the report came out at just the right (wrong) time for crop insurance. Right now is when prices are fixed for payouts. The rumor they are talking about now is about Obama using Sherman anti-trust act against the big Ag buyers. Government thinks this will reduce prices. Farmers think this will reduce the number of entities able to buy the crops at harvest time. They think it will cause shortages and prices will go up.

  27. For what it is worth, I am at a complete loss as far as market direction right now. Markets seem to only move based on squeezing smaller investors out of their positions. Yes...I know that prices are not in line with fundamentals on a day to day basis, but this is getting extreme.

  28. I'm the mystery person who posted this same article in the comments section on Saturday, July 2. Usually I just lurk and read and try to learn. But when Tom asked "Do you think JPM will ever cover their shorts so they can go long silver? Wouldn't they do really well if they did?" it seemed like the perfect opportunity to share because I had just finished reading the article. I thought, "boy, that's a serendipitous bit of timing!" Okay, back to lurking now. ;)
