Feels apocalyptic doesn't it? Of course it does.......heheheh. Thats the game. Well, run if you must, but cheerleading metals should not be necessary. Look around you and just imagine if I had told you five years ago that major corporations like GE, Lehman, Bear Stearns,AIG, GM, Chrysler would be effectively bankrupt an on the public dole, you would have laughed and said you're crazy. So relax and I hope you like your role as an investor here.

According to Bloomberg, in March, 65 billion euros left the Spanish banking system for ports in Northern Europe.  So, there is major capital flight out of both Spain and Italy, into places like Germany, the Netherlands and places like Luxembourg.  well that should be bullish

Looking forward now to more important issues. BE PREPARED ....there are some excellent reading on the net you need to start doing now. I am more convinced than ever that Jim Sinclair and Alex Jones and many others are correct that things stand a good chance of getting dicey in the next year or two. The least you can do is get food ready and a source of water. After that you can look at some nuances that may apply to your particular locale. I don't spend much time on this and probably will not. This blog is more directed towards trading the casino right now....or as I am....."investing" in it. gl all.

  3. Thanks everyone for your support.

If you never make a penny in this casino you cannot place a value on the friendships you have made here. And that is what life is all about isn't it? The money is just how we keep score in this game called investing where as there is no way to really value the friendships we make.

    You guys are the best.

  9. I rolled the dice on some AAPL(Apple) call options yesterday afternoon. I thought the 5 day beatdown was a little too aggressive right before earnings.

Had a trailing stop this morning and it sold for around a 40% gain.

    Beer is on me tonight.

    GL all.

  11. Nice trade Jay!! I'm actually going to short this rip later this afternoon.

  12. Sheesh. AAPL is an unstoppable bull today.

If I hung on til now, I'd be up well over 100%

Definitely some of the wildest option action I've ever seen. $3 billion traded on $600 calls alone.

It's almost getting silly at this point.

GL honestcreditguy. I'd have my hand on the trigger too if my gambling money was settled.

  16. "President Obama today raised the ante on his efforts to limit the rise in oil prices, calling on Congress to adopt tougher rules on speculators in the oil market."

This reminds me a lot of when Bush tried banning short sales in '08. (Which sent the market tanking even more)

I might have to start playing oil. Obama just showed his hand.

  17. Just looking at the GOLD chart, right shoulder (hopefully)on ih&s may take another 4 wks. or so to form. But I'm not counting my chickens yet! At least the miners weren't down again today. WTG Jay...if refineries keep shutting down as explained in Bloomberg, speculators won't matter. And another shout out to Inlet, keeping you in good thoughts.
