EUROZONE SOLVED

......again. Evening shenanigans and printing games by the bankers bring futures roaring back. Or maybe I should post the headline. Nuts of shorts squeezed by the bankers. This means WE'RE SERIOUS THIS TIME! ...........or maybe TAKE THAT YOU SHORT BAASTIDS!  Oh my how can you not watch this kind of rip and not laugh yourself into a stupor. Jim Rogers is on CNBS Asia right now ranting about how this solves nothing with more printing.....and that the world is drowning in debt and this will solve NOTHING. I completely agree but of course I also think that they will continue to print. and print. and print. At least they print until the cost of essentials reaches the breaking point. The last few weeks of Fed jawboning commodities down with the suggestion that QE is not on the table "near term" has provided the necessary cover to start the ramp up of the presses. Will this ramp result in a monstrous near term move in precious metals that all investors have been waiting for? Maybe but my guess is we get continued volatility in this trade to shake out as many investors as possible. I don't mean just retail either. I am talking about pros too. They do NOT want you or other hedges and banks in this trade. It needs clearing.

Are they that calculating and are they able to plan that far in advance? Do they have that much control? You can give your own conclusion since the answer by now should be apparent. Of course there are those that wish to hold cash here and may wind up making the ultimate trade if the miners wind up taking one more major move down on the monthlies. On the other hand they may still be holding that cash in a few months when the charts show an extreme move in PMs that leave most bystanders gasping. I know how I'll play it. If you have a better way then by all means use it, but I know the strategy that I am employing for this shakeout game. gl all

  2. Just a follow up from the SCOTUS ruling yesterday, (hope you folks don’t mind all off topic banter from me lately, no sense looking for trades based on where I’m at for the moment, day, week , month, month’s…. hehehehe ) Anyway not done reading all of it but the more I read of it, well seems you might be right Kli that they have a file on everybody cause the manner to which he came to this conclusion is bizarre to say the least. I think Mark Levin and Karl Denninger have it about right.

FWIW: I was aware of the Vaccine Slush fund and as you stated yesterday on the matter of “Health Care” and not “Health Insurance” cause it’s no longer “Insurance” and hasn’t been for 20 or so years but if you understand the system it is layered with State and Federal “Mandates” already and written in ways only to benefit the Medical, Pharmaceutical, Insurance and Law Industries, certainly not for the benefit of the recipients…….

I did watch the Leslie Manookian video that Kli posted yesterday. Just to say, certainly Leslie is entitled to her opinion/concerns/review of the literature. But that moderator was way over the top with his commentary. The medical profession wants to give "19,000 vaccines" to a child. Come on, let's talk about the issue in a proper manner.

    1. yes doc and what i find very disturbing about medical decision and policy making is that its increasingly being removed from the physician and transferred even on the "ground level" to health insurance technocrats, nursecrats, and PAcrats.....patients are being driven from care delivery by doctors. You will find that the decisions of vaccines will be made for you not with you.....all central planning. Doctors....will find (and many already have found) that they are subjugated to a system where their input is despised and eliminated.......

    1. Tom,

I realize that Natural News had the story sensationalized and any emotion provoked is meant to divide us. I had no problem with what the woman was saying, but the guy was something else. Anyway, don't worry about stepping on my "Wheel House". I'm fine.

Here is a 10/26/09 review of "Mandated Vaccines".

•The preservation of the public health is the primary responsibility of state and local governments, not the federal one.
•State/local governments have the power to institute measures such as quarantine, isolation or enact mandatory vaccine laws.
•U.S. courts have rejected the constitutional concerns raised by petitioners to mandatory vaccine laws (Jacobson v. Massachusetts)
•Every state and the District of Columbia has a law requiring children entering school to provide documentation that they have met the state immunization requirements.
•Many states provide exemptions for medical, religious, or philosophical reasons (exemptions vary from state to state).

•All states allow medical exemptions for those whose immune systems are compromised, who are allergic to vaccines, are ill at the time of vaccination, or have other medical contraindications to vaccines.
•Nearly all states grant exemptions for persons who oppose vaccines for religious reasons. For example, all states, with the exception of Mississippi and West Virginia, provide for religious exemptions.
•Exemptions based on philosophical or moral convictions are less common but are provided by 20 states.
•Many states require health workers to be vaccinated; exemptions for medical, religious and philosophical reasons are available to them as well (they vary by state) but not for all diseases.

•Many states have laws providing for mandatory vaccinations during a public health emergency or outbreak of communicable disease, especially ones with high morbidity or mortality rates. Exemptions for medical, religious or philosophical reasons are still available, however a person who refuses to vaccinate during the emergency may be quarantined.
•At the federal level, no mandatory vaccination programs are specifically authorized, nor do there appear to be any regulations regarding the implementation of a mandatory vaccination program at the federal level during a public health emergency.
So, the answer to the question: are childhood vaccinations mandatory is: Yes and No. Yes, since most states require that children attending day care centers or schools provide documentation proving that they are up-to-date with their childhood immunization schedule, and no because those same states allow many exemptions for medical, religious and philosophical reasons. You may think that’s bad, but consider that in the other hand, child car seat laws are mandatory and do not, to the best of my knowledge, offer any exemptions for any reasons. Thus, to the best of my knowledge, vaccination laws are more relaxed than car seat laws, and car accidents are not contagious. You can judge for yourself if this is a good or bad thing, but the facts remain as described above.

Also, here in New York, vaccines would not be needed if you choose to home school your children. With on-line Colleges now available, I supposed the vaccines could be skipped entirely during the education process.

  31. Interesting stuff from TF - "The silver CoT is simply fantastic. Remember for context that silver plunged $1.55 and OI rose by 6000 contracts on 6/21/12. Even though OI fell back 3000 on Tuesday, check out the changes for the reporting week!

The Silver Cartel decreased their net short position by 4,943 contracts. They are now net short just 12,011 contracts and they have a never-before-seen-by-Turd net short ratio of 1.25:1. Again and for perspective, on April 5, 2011, The Silver Cartel was net short 56,414 contracts and held a net short ratio of 2.69:1. Even on 2/28/12, they were net short 44,593 and had a ratio of 2.32:1.

Remember, the final surge in the month of April 2011 was almost entirely caused by Silver Cartel panic short covering. They then realized that they were trapped and have engineered the 14 months since to buy themselves time to cover in a more orderly (and profitable) manner. They are almost finished as their net short position has now been trimmed by an amazing 85%.

And here's one more for you: On 4/5/11, The Silver Cartel held 33,413 contracts long. This was 23.36% of the total open interest. On 2/28/12, they still held just 33,802 long but this was now 29.17% of the total OI. As of Tuesday, The Silver Cartel how holds 48,591 contracts long. This is an increase of 44% since 2/28/12 and it represents 38.51% of the total open interest.

HERE IS YOUR EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TAKEAWAY: THOUGH A STOP-GUNNING PLUNGE THROUGH $25 IS STILL POSSIBLE, WE ARE VERY, VERY CLOSE TO THE BOTTOM IN SILVER. FROM THERE, WE WILL ALL EXPERIENCE A MOVE HIGHER THAT WILL BE BREATHTAKING."

  39. Doc,

Thanks for the time and yes you’re correct in the fact that “currently” the CDC/ Fed can only “Suggest” and not “Mandate” vaccine’s and I was aware that such dictates fall under the States purview.

However from my view point a “Mandate is a Mandate” no matter which authority it comes from, I guess I should have been clear on that point. I was on the supply side of the med business for a while so I know enough to be dangerous, hehehehe! I am by no means anti-immunization and clearly understand the “Whole” benefit to the many but if you happen to fall into the few that suffer from the side effects, however rare but if so, you’re farked. I’d be lying to you if I told you that I was not worried when my kids were vaccinated and prayed they not become a statistic.

I think the public as it relates to this topic is more aware which is both good and bad to some extent as there is a lot of misinformation. You can thank the Fed’s, Natty’s and the Tort Lawyer’s for that. I’m sure it makes your job a harder and I know it makes my Kid’s Doc nuts! He says he spends more time calming Parent’s fears and does complain that it puts him in an awkward position as it relates to his “Trust” with them. I can however sympathize with their concerns as they were mine as well.

What I can’t and don’t support is the “Shield” afforded the Pharmaceutical Companies that they received/coerced /paid for. Almost all manufactures are held to “Strict Liability” standards but in the case of vaccines “We the Plebe’s” are covering their arses per shot to fund their “Compensation Fund”, I.E. no Due Process (Not that that seems to matter anymore). Not that any amount of money can make a person whole again but it certainly would pressure them to ensure the product was as safe as possible as there is always going to be risks but are they truly being mitigated to the fullest with this set up? It certainly can leave one to speculate and there’s plenty of that. It’s clear there is a large distrust with the Government.

As for NY there are exceptions as you stated but if one wants to participate in any organized activity that requires a Med back ground with proof of vaccinations then your excluded and maybe rightfully so…

Here’s another link regarding the subject, found the video opinionated and exaggerated but there are good points as well. There are also a lot of good references in this piece which is usually not the case.

    http://www.nvic.org/NVIC-Vaccine-News/March-2011/No-Pharma-Liability--No-Vaccine-Mandates-.aspx#a41

As for the “Affordable Health Care Act”, Holy Chit, who knows where this whole thing is going now but I do know one thing, WE are going to lose a lot of Experienced Doctor’s over this! I know of quite a few that will retire in the coming years due to this and you can’t buy with any amount of money the experience they are leaving with………

    Enjoyed the discussion

  40. Tom,

I didn't have a chance yet to look at your link and I certainly don't want to be perceived as supporting the Pharm. industry & Big Government. But, just to mention a few things that may help other with this vaccine issue.

    1. Vaccines are part of Public Health Programs. The goal of Public Health is to protect the POPULATION at the potential risk of injuring an INDIVIDUAL. Children are being vaccinated in hopes to protect them, but the primary reason is protect the POPULATION. Unfortunately, vaccines are not 100% safe and some individuals are injured. But, the goal is protect the population.

    2. The concept of "Herd Immunity". Say you own a farm and you have 100 cows that you want to vaccinate against a serious illness. Your cows are relatively isolated, but might meet up with cows from another farm. Unfortuately, you only have 98 doses of vaccine, so 2 of your cows will have to go unvaccinated. Are those 2 cows doomed to become ill? The answer is probably not. Your 98 vaccinated cows will keep the disease from becoming established in your herd, and thus protect the 2 unvaccinated cows.

Well this concept of "Herd Immunity" works with humans too. As long as most of the children become vaccinated and thus immune, they will protect the small number of unvaccinated ones. In that Natural News video, the women spoke about following 8000 unimmunized children and none of them became ill. Well, of course they won't, as long as there is enough "Herd Immunity".
The concern would be if more and more parents choose to not vaccinate. If more and more unvaccinated chilren enter the pool (herd), overall protection will be lost. Remember, diseases such as Polio and Measels still exist, and they are just a plane flight away.

It is true that the manufacturers of vaccines are protected against law suits and there is an established pool of money to pay for claims to the injured. The reason given is that no one would be willing to make the vaccines if they could be held liable for damages. That certainly is a topic for debate. Maybe they would still make them if held liable, but then the cost of the vaccines will soar.

It is an issue with no 100% happy answers. Patients/parents do need their questions answered and we do need to demand the safest vaccines possible. There is certainly work to be done.

    ReplyDelete
  41. all good points on vaccines. Also love the Herd Immunity concept being used to illustrate Doc's point. I have to jump in with a can of worms on vaccines too. Autism issue is where I have a concern and the "cause and effect" has not been scientifically proven to be vaccine related. Thimerosol has been implicated but not proven. I find it incredible from a scientific standpoint that children can have as many as nine or ten vaccines batch given at one time and mount a credible appropriate immune response....to each .....I'll stop there before I step too deep into the poop.....an old friend of mine was one of the early researcher on retrovirus/HIV origin.....and as I may have discussed before published on the conclusion that it was a biologically engineered virus from the sheep and bovine retroviruses.....he felt that the vector of introduction was the WHO smallpox vaccine program and Hep B vaccine program......
