REAL JOBS!

Devastation shows on faces in April, 2009 at Jobs Fair in New Hampshire
The line forms as the back. Almost no one saw this coming.....at least this is the line we were told in sworn testimony to Congress by officials within the Government and the Federal Reserve after the Greatest Economic Crisis to strike the World in over 80 years and possibly ever once the can-kicking ends and Nature takes over. We have been cajoled, deceived, and goaded into a pseudo recovery. Unemployed workers have been rolled over from previously high paying jobs into under-houred low paying job sectors that are doing little to help the over-all economy grow but helping the statistics at least appear to be "recovering". One can argue the merits of these jobs to some degree, but one cannot argue the profound impact on the future of the strength of this nation and what it portends for the next generations.

Immediate impact is a devastating change in the psyche of our nation and other nations even more effected by the calamitous downturn. We know how it happened and we know they knew it was coming, but what we don't know is what to do as a people, a nation, and a world. That is indeed the perplexing problem that faces a centrally controlled economy, whether it be a nation or a world economy. Its called "dependency" and its absolutely an anchor for our economic recovery. We can point to stats like the LEI, PMI, employment, but we are at that point where its become PUT UP OR SHUT UP. Phd's working at Lowes are not an allocation of resources but a red flag of malinvestment. Therein lies the conundrum for Central Planners and that is how to "fix" a structural employment collapse brought about by POLICY.  Structural unemployment is the loss of manufacturing jobs....its the millions of business degrees produced over the past 30 years that significantly underproduce in an economy that needs PRODUCTION. When you start two wars and instead of bunkering down and saving money and raising taxes to pay for it your President tells you to go out and shop then you know you have entered the Twilight Zone. When the new President comes in and tells you the biggest budget deficit and debt in history must be met with more spending you know the hope and change promised is NOT coming. As discussed previously the course of monetization/money printing cannot be changed once it crosses into the Twilight Zone and we are going deep into this rabbit hole.  For whatever reason I do not grow tired of discussing the historical time we are in. If you get tired of reading about it then of course I am sorry, but I have to remind many of you this is NOT your daddy's world or even your grand-daddy's. Be prepared and don't get lulled into a trance. For those of you that understand the reality of what's going on around the world to deal and fight this man-made collapse please watch the following video inside the Madrid employment office..........and smile.......gl ...........you CAN beat them.

  1. I believe that Germany's announcement of Gold repatriation should be followed closely. IF this is correct then we are seeing a profound change in Central bank realignment and the end game is very close.......Germany will break from the West and join China Russia India and Brazil eventually in a new reserve currency swap

    ReplyDelete
  2. Absolutely...supposedly the German central bank will present a new plan to manage its gold reserves on Wednesday (tomorrow), so maybe we'll get some clarity on whether the report is true. This is the first time I've actually felt a little afraid, in all seriousness.

Btw is the gold even there??

    1. There is NO gold.....they will do everything to project the gold is there...perhaps even making a show of delivering some small tonnage......but the Germans will never see the bulk of the gold.....its long gone

  3. Quick story...I've been purchasing physical silver and gold from a local jeweler, very fair and allows me to avoid wiring the money and shipping fees. So I stopped by this am to pick up some more Eagles. Apparently someone walked in there minutes before me and cleaned him out, showed me the $140K bank check! There goes my supply haha!

  4. Where do you live Sammy? Had some of my contemporaries over on Sun. night...topic of discussion was the "way things used to be". Not many had much money, one guest was saying his father would buy 8 bags of groceries including pork, meat and milk every Friday for $25 to feed his family of 5.

    ReplyDelete
  5. HA! I wrote that check. She'll bounce. Me. I be in Tijuana drinking the ol Irish and watching donkey shows....

Good video and music. That young lady has a great voice. Kinda made me day.

  6. Hey sister, I'm in CT, Fairfield County, are you familiar with the area?

That's amazing, $25 barely covers my lunch some days. I'm in my 30s, so wasn't around for those good ole days, but sometimes wish I was born 50 years earlier.

  7. I'm am watching the physical supply at the retail level as an indicator of whether we are at a breaking point. Once I see sites like Tulving, Gainesville, and Apmex out of stock on a high number of items, I know the SHTF will be imminent.

  8. I remember during the last huge runup Apmex was begging for silver and offering $5 over spot for Eagles... Unreal.

    2. The good ole days when only one Parent needed to work and one stayed home rasing the family, when $ 100 dollars could buy groceries for a family of 5 for two weeks and one could bearly stuff them into a full size station wagon to get them he or buy gas for. 45 cents a gallon or cigaretts for about the same and were able to smoke them anywhere you wished hehehehe you mean those days! Yup they were once and even though I grew up with little of the creature comforts I have today, I'll take the good ole days back in a heart beat considering what we are witnessing and living through now!

Great videos posted especially the PBS vid many parallels to todays events, gives creadence to the old saying " Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it"

  10. I am assuming all of you have heard about New York's new firearms law was passed. The law was simply shoved though the Senate & the Assembly during the night with no discussion. My Assembly representative was on TV saying that they weren't even given time to read the bill.
My own thought is this shows how much fear our "leaders" must have. They must be concerned that a loss of control could happen. Let's see what Obama comes up with.

    1. Yes I have for three days now and its been an absolute travisy of the legislative process never mind how poorly and ambiguious the law is written..... I have spoken personally twice to my Assemblyman and written quote a number of letters, not that I think they care what I have to say but this case, in my opnion, was worth getting involved in.... Personally I dont see the need for AW's where I live but others do and its worth a shot sticking up for their rights. In reality this is just the beginning of the end for gun rights in our Country as Kli pointed out the other day. Not to mention its ironic the NYS is taking the lead in this reguard and now that its passed, so did the Sandy relief bill, pork and all..... OMG never mind the crap comming out of Emperor Bloombergs trap...... Guess now Andrew will be anxiously a waiting his payoff!

  12. Hope Obama realizes what a Pandora's Box he's potentially opening. Most of us are Sheeple but this is going to wake a lot of people up! I'm all for it but people I've talked to are FURIOUS about this executive order abuse nonsense.

    1. And by all for it I meant all for people waking up :)

    2. Obo is doing it on purpose and those standing by are doing so by design. Obo is lookng to get his desired response which is blows back and if and when it does happen, well you dont have to be Dick Tracy to know what comes next! As for folks waking up I don't think far too many are disengaged or too stupid but there is a bunch of gun owners really pissed with NY and their elected representitives thats for certain!

      Delete
    3. Looks like all he is passing for now is multiple ways to get more information on gun owners etc. and increase possible ways to confiscate weapons from us. Ughh.... I think he felt the heat on doing an outright ban which is good but this isn't really good either. Just seeds of destruction, more privacy gone.

  13. He has been implementing extra-constitutional orders for 4 yrs. now, but there is NO one to stop him...just look at the state of the state of IL. It is hard to believe that peeps are so asleep. I have friends in Chicago who love the current admin. there even tho the state is bankrupt, they re-elected JJ, Jr. who may be added to the prisoner list soon...

  14. For years I was someone that stood on the sidelines of the "gun" issue and found the conspiratorial right wing aspect more "political" than reality....eventually I have come to the side of what is now the left wing and right wing aspects that are recognizing the real battle which is tyranny. Twenty years ago I would never have believed that my country would advocate torture and killing its own citizens......whats really left to take away from us and our constitution....we stepped over that abyss several years ago.......now we are just falling

  17. Maybe it will be like the Game Theory that went on during the Cold War involving Nuclear Weapons.

Perhaps the PTB are studying Game Theory as it applies to gold. In the case for gold, as long as no one knows where the gold truly is, we are fine.

    1. I bought some $10 puts yesterday for downside protection but they're looking like they're going to pin it at $10. Ugh!

      Delete
    2. Perhaps today is the day to buy some February calls. Many of them lost a lot of their value so if what we are seeing is pinning due to OpEx, we should see a sharp move up next week. Feb $11 are $0.38 and the $12 are $0.22. A move back to $11 would make some nice %age gains in short order.

Now I've convinced myself to jump in.

    3. My Jan 2014 calls didn't take too much of a hit luckily. I closed out my $10 puts for 3 cents haha... but only paid 9 for them and it was a small amount. You might move out further just because it's not exactly known when the EMA will approve Belviq. Honest knows much more than me on this though. Geeeez I swear I'm cursed. Minutes after selling my calls at 3 cents they push it below 10 and I could've escape for free. Damn!

  41. one question about ARNA, do you think it's likely they do a stock offering at these levels? I don't own ARNA, and I have no idea how much cash they actually have. many times biotechs need cash, and after any type of run up they drop the stock offering bomb.

    1. I don't believe that should be an issue, though the float is already larger than I would like. According to Motley Fool they have no debt, and they also receive a $65 million milestone payment once it is approved for sale here, and i think there are additional ones for the EU.

      Delete
    2. no worries on dilution right now, Hubz is on top of the 65 million milestone and they have partner on marketing and distibution with 500000 pills read to roll already...I think the fda will give them fast pass along with the marketing side is already siging up and promoting to drs..

      Delete
    3. Honest I'm a bit confused on the DEA stuff. Is that already a done deal? All I hear about is the EU stuff but I think the DEA is much more important currently. EU is just potential icing on the cake.

    4. thanks Hubz and HCG for your insight on ARNA. I dont own it, but i am watching. hopefully there is another big move on the horizon.

    5. Hubz,
DEA is done, they are trying to get fast track thru comment period..The dea worked out well for ARNA..I think the number of scripts will immediately push them way ahead of the competition...
