CHOMSKY

Marginalized and isolated and FEARED
Noam Chomsky is an incredible intellect that has fought against the global military industrial complex for many years. He has been criticized for being a liberal, a communist, a socialist, even an elitist as he continues to battle against what he views as a cabal of evil.  I want you to read his assessment and summary of methods being employed within the cabal owned media against the sheeple and then tell me where you disagree with him.

1. The strategy of distraction
The primary element of social control is the strategy of distraction which is to divert public attention from important issues and changes determined by the political and economic elites, by the technique of flood or flooding continuous distractions and insignificant information. distraction strategy is also essential to prevent the public interest in the essential knowledge in the area of the science, economics, psychology, neurobiology and cybernetics. “Maintaining public attention diverted away from the real social problems, captivated by matters of no real importance. Keep the public busy, busy, busy, no time to think, back to farm and other animals (quote from text Silent Weapons for Quiet War ).”
2. Create problems, then offer solutions
This method is also called “problem -reaction- solution. “It creates a problem, a “situation” referred to cause some reaction in the audience, so this is the principal of the steps that you want to accept. For example: let it unfold and intensify urban violence, or arrange for bloody attacks in order that the public is the applicant‟s security laws and policies to the detriment of freedom. Or: create an economic crisis to accept as a necessary evil retreat of social rights and the dismantling of public services.
3. The gradual strategy
acceptance to an unacceptable degree, just apply it gradually, dropper, for consecutive years. That is how they radically new socioeconomic conditions ( neoliberalism ) were imposed during the 1980s and 1990s: the minimal state, privatization, precariousness, flexibility, massive unemployment, wages, and do not guarantee a decent income, so many changes that have brought about a revolution if they had been applied once.
4. The strategy of deferring
Another way to accept an unpopular decision is to present it as “painful and necessary”, gaining public acceptance, at the time for future application. It is easier to accept that a future sacrifice of immediate slaughter. First, because the effort is not used immediately. Then, because the public, masses, is always the tendency to expect naively that “everything will be better tomorrow” and that the sacrifice required may be avoided. This gives the public more time to get used to the idea of change and accept it with resignation when the time comes.
5. Go to the public as a little child
Most of the advertising to the general public uses speech, argument, people and particularly children‟s intonation, often close to the weakness, as if the viewer were a little child or a mentally deficient. The harder one tries to deceive the viewer look, the more it tends to adopt a tone infantilising. Why? “If one goes to a person as if she had the age of 12 years or less, then, because of suggestion, she tends with a certain probability that a response or reaction also devoid of a critical sense as a person 12 years or younger (see Silent Weapons for Quiet War ).”
6. Use the emotional side more than the reflection
Making use of the emotional aspect is a classic technique for causing a short circuit on rational analysis , and finally to the critical sense of the individual. Furthermore, the use of emotional register to open the door to the unconscious for implantation or grafting ideas , desires, fears and anxieties , compulsions, or induce behaviors …
7. Keep the public in ignorance and mediocrity
Making the public incapable of understanding the technologies and methods used to control and enslavement. “The quality of education given to the lower social classes must be the poor and mediocre as possible so that the gap of ignorance it plans among the lower classes and upper classes is and remains impossible to attain for the lower classes (See „ Silent Weapons for Quiet War ).”
8. To encourage the public to be complacent with mediocrity
Promote the public to believe that the fact is fashionable to be stupid, vulgar and uneducated…
9. Self-blame Strengthen
To let individual blame for their misfortune, because of the failure of their intelligence, their abilities, or their efforts. So, instead of rebelling against the economic system, the individual autodesvalida and guilt, which creates a depression, one of whose effects is to inhibit its action. And, without action, there is no revolution!
10. Getting to know the individuals better than they know themselves
Over the past 50 years, advances of accelerated science has generated a growing gap between public knowledge and those owned and operated by dominant elites. Thanks to biology, neurobiology and applied psychology, the “system” has enjoyed a sophisticated understanding of human beings, both physically and psychologically. The system has gotten better acquainted with the common man more than he knows himself. This means that, in most cases, the system exerts greater control and great power over individuals, greater than that of individuals about themselves.

Fun day in the miners today as the full fury and power of the cabal was unleashed. I'm sure there will be explanations given for this type of market performance such as hedge fund liquidations etc. It looked like a cabal led flush and it may signify a bottom is finally being set. Joe believes that we are near and wants the HUI at 300-330 for a buy of his favorite miners PPP and MUX. I think after his correct call on this slaughter that was delivered, his call deserves your attention.

Next. I am taking a beating just like you but this is not the end of the PM bull run. Miners however are paper and as Red, Joe and even myself have repeatedly said, paper is the Cabal's tool. On the other hand I believe and time will tell if I am right that as the secular bull market in bullion continues that miners will be a profit center for the Cabal's hedges and for you. It may not seem that way today but that is the game if you want to be in what I believe will be the greatest bull run ever....gl

Joes DD on MUX

Former creator and owner of GoldCorp and current CEO of MUX, Rob McEwen ( owns 25% of MUX sdhares and does not give himself any salary) was not spared by the brutal Mr Market this go round. After acquisition of Minera Andes by US Gold with combined market caps of over 2 billion dollars in the first half of 2011, when the "merger" has been announced - McEwen Mining is currently trading around 600 million market cap.
Fragile market confidence was not helped by the Rights Offering at 50% discount at the moment of announcing - at 2.25 dollars. Trade was quite obvious and Shorts were selling MUX at market, planning to cover by buying the Rights, which were trading on the market as well. This is where we find McEwen Mining at the moment of writing - with 2.69 at Friday's close company is just 20% above the Rights Offering price. Its market cap is far cry from needed 4 billion dollars in order to qualify for S&P inclusion in 2015, company needs at least 120 million for the El Galo phase II expansion in Mexico and another Rights Offering can easily bring it below 2 dollars. Market knows it and punished McEwen Mining with the rest of the Gold market as we have discussed above.
Should I write off Rob McEwen and his Midas touch? Contrary, I would say that it could be the most intriguing story in the making a turn around Gold miner. All the news and developments are already in the market. Short position in MUX has been at 29 million shares as of the end of January. Company has reported spectacular results from Los Azules and announced the expansion of the resources. BMO was hired to market the "One of the World's largest undeveloped copper project ( Los Azules could be sold for between $500M to $1 B due to tremendous amount of resources found and by June the total amount of copper will be reported since Rob has a definite plan to sell Los Azules to focus on gold mines in Mexico". According to Rob's facebook page, last week McEwen Mining had meetings in Toronto presenting Los Azules developments. Barrick Gold's Pascua Lama was reportedly cleared from "Rock Glassiers" investigations and has received the support of San Juan government in Argentina. McEwen Mining with Los Azules is reviewed this month. This year Rob mentioned they will produce 130K ounce of Gold between Argentina and Mexico and his plan is to get to 300K ounce by 2014 and 600K ounce by 2016. The silver production is already in millions of ounces. company has no debt.
Here where Rob McEwen will be coming at his prime as promoter - running against the clock for his goal to qualify for S&P 500 by 2015 he has the last opportunity to turn this story around. 70 million in cash will not buy the place in S&P 500 by itself or even the Second Stage at El Galo, but it will be enough for the "Chief Owner" to fight for his company. Research valuation of McEwen Mining, including the Los Azules valuation will draw the market attention and any hint about the potential buyers for this world class copper asset can make Shorts rushing to cover.
Watch out the for the retest of 2.25 , followed by 1.95 if 2.25 does not hold , if 1.95 does not hold then 1.80 and if market to really decide to give us the ULTIMATE gift price in MUX, that would be the pivot point at 1.45.

Apparently there are 70% probability trades that come up at various times of the year. The biggest rule is to bet small so you can take the rough hits. Today I did a a test of betting the S&P will close below 1439 today. We shall see... For the record it is VERY much a gambling instrument but so is this market in general anymore with fundamentals long gone. :)

  10. KLI, be very careful praising Chomsky. The guy is a Marxist to the bone.
If all his wishes come true, there would be no stock market whatsoever.
All your miners would be owned by the state.

As for his "intellect", I think it sounds more like "rambling". Almost all of his columns touch base on so many topics that by the time I get to the end, it's a big convoluted mess.

    1. Not disagreeing with that.....I have followed many of Chomsky's intervies and many of the Marxists that came into the U.S. turned into the Neocons....which were the Irving Crystal clan...Chomsky staid more true to the anti-fascist element which I think is the greater threat. Global government always enters into the fray with both sides.

      Delete
    2. clarifying on Chomsky ....his anti-fascist anti war stance and his repeated warnings have remained true. He does not advocate the Middle east wars instead had constantly warned of the consequences.

    3. Also anyone that speaks out against the global corporatization is immediately labeled a communist/socialist/marxist......to isolate and marginalize them ....Certainly Chomsky and his Ivy league backround is an easy target for the well oiled MSM machine. They let him occaisionally on C-Span probably but I seldom see him on any major interviews.

Again on just the surface of what I read last night and applying some hindsight to current events both past and present, I'll have to disagree however as I go deeper into his work you might be correct but I do possess the ability to separate the chaff from wheat, so to speak. The true value here is getting introduced to differing points of view, especially ones that challenge ones ingrained beliefs real or imaginary and of course the status quo......

  19. On days like today and these past couple of months, I feel like I do not shit and maybe I have been wrong about what is coming. But I remember a time not too long ago when everyone thought there house would just keep going up and they would all become rich because there was no stopping it. Then you see those same people crying about how they lost half the value of their house and where is the government to bail them out.
I see people who make a quarter of what my wife and I make and have much larger and nicer home and driver fancier cars and I wonder what the hell I am doing wrong.
I must be a "sucker" because, hey, I should have all that crap that they have.
But I look at their lives, they have nothing but those things. I have security knowing that if things do get bad, I will be able to survive for years without changing a thing. That is the choice I made. Right now that choice doesn't seem right since its party time in American again. But I remember the same kind of talk a few years ago, when the carpet was pulled from under everyones feet and those people that were living high off the hog were begging for someone to save them because the illusion they were living under, just vanished.

  23. It's hard not to question oneself, when everything goes against what you believe (or what you think should happen). While I haven't completely changed my views, I now believe the S will not HTF for quite a while. Yes, when it does end, it will end badly, but might as well be on the right trade until then. Ben will not let the markets crash, and Greenspan has made it clear the stock market is all that matters. The printing will continue well into 2014, so we have some more time to ride this gravy train.

I was seriously thinking of establishing some short positions around Dow 14K, but now, maybe 15K by end of March might be a better entry point.

In the SKF days, KLI was more of a chart trader. (and I assume he made money back then). These days KLI is an investor with a much longer time frame.

Fiat could become worthless next week or 8 years from now. But KLI's strategy is clear: Buy physical metals on the dips and tightly hold miner stocks during the shakedowns. Warren Buffet said he never tries to time a stock. KLI is doing the same thing.

And of course...always remember that this thing is a casino. If you think it's anymore than that, then you should delete your brokerage account tonight.

    1. Printing to infinity has already been tried in many 3rd world countries over the years. I have yet to see positive results from this strategy.

Ben thinks the printing will create jobs. But it's not happening. If anything, it's causing the opposite effect. I work for a company that outsources a lot of work to Taiwan and China. If anything, Ben's printing is causing our business to soar. Inflation is hitting our American customers so severely that they sometimes call us out of the blue begging us to outsource their work. Even the diehard "Made in USA" customers are telling us they can't stay in business if they keep buying American.

The game will be over when the petro-dollar ends, until then they'll keep printing. That could be next year, or 10 years from now. So, I'm basically holding my nose and participating in this casino, even though I have 50% cash earning nothing, waiting for a dip to buy in. As for PMs, expecting more beatdown, and waiting for that to finally buy some bullion. I saw some targets as low as $900, but that sounds ridiculous. 33. the MSM makes it seem like people should avoid gold like the plague. i will say , kli said the paper gold trade was not going to be easy. even with the warning, I did not anticipate it would be this difficult. if the paper gold mkt is really a manipulation game, then the masters play it too well. even though I feel like I lost, I am too stubborn to cash in my decimated miner chip stack. I just wonder how many more more flushes are left until the bowl finally backs up and the miners rise from the ashes.

    1. The reason the MSM has been ORDERED to relay to the populace to avoid gold, prepping, agricultural land, is two fold. One, there is not enough tangible assets to go around if even 10% percent of the population started shifting their allocations. Two, even a small pullback in equities is painful to PENSION funds (the best of which are only around 85% funded). Basically if the overall populace was not buying crap (real and paper) that has marginal to no value, the whole Pension and entitlement program would really crash this time with new government mandated lower benefits coming into place once the government regains control after the chaos.

They can only inflate so far until food and essentials are out of the reach of a critical percentage of the masses and then all hell breaks out and the supply chain collapses. Blackwater mercenaries will be hanging from lamp posts along with any minions that support the brutal crackdown when their supply lines are cut-off from Cabal Central (you may get to see the test case in Greece/Spain/Italy first).

Those billion rounds of ammo and APCs won't be doing much good after their warehouses get looted.

They set the rules in the casino if you want to play. Stay out if you don't want to get run over, as everybody outside the bunker is expendable.

It's not important what chomsky's personal ideology stands, what's important is whether the 10 items he discussed is TRUE or not regardless of anything else, seems like Jay, item 10 of chomsky applies directly to you, the system knows how to marginalize the truth spoken by LABELING the individuals who speak the truth. You are not part of the CLUB discussed below regardless of chomsky's ideology since the system you believe in is not serving you any way so focus on that. If any individual speaks the TRUTH then truth is the truth regardless of the other packages:

  36. They say the market climbs "A wall of worry". Well, there is a lot of worry out there, so maybe the wall is pretty high.

Keystone wrote today that a doji was printed on the ^VIX. So, maybe a change is pending and the ^VIX will go higher. But, Keystone points out with the FED printing and all the recent market enthusiasm, the ^VIX could go lower--maybe to 13 or even 12.80.

I seems to me some sort of correction has to occur eventually. Maybe some type of news will occur overnight, so they can gap the markets down for a few days. I plan on buying the dip.

    2. a man can put $100,000 in gold in his front pockets and walk across a border....thats a handful in each front pocket...that much silver weighs 200lbs...wealthy people buy gold to store value....If you have no intention of moving then Silver is fine. If you believe you may have to "bug out" or move suddenly then gold....if you are going to own less than 20K then probably silver. Both should be considered long term stores of wealth. The very best will be able to move half of their gold "at the right time" into other investment assets that diversify their long term appreciation perhaps better such as Art, classic cars, farmland, forest land etc.....good luck with the timing

  53. I may never put this in a general post but I will tell you all here what I think will happen on the next run up. I think that MOST traders will sell a portion of the actual bullion at 48-50 in anticipation of a pull back to 38-40. So expect the cartel to fool them. There may not be a big pull back other than a brief small fake/flush....I think they are short silver and could run it rather quickly to 49 or so to capture the needed bullion....I just want to throw that out to those parting with some bullion at that level....ie DON'T expect them to give you the chance/time to get back cheap this time what you sell at 49 area.

  55. Hubz - I personally would not encourage anyone to defund a 401k early (tax penalities etc) unless it was an absolute crisis!!! Best option to paying CCs is learning to live within your income.

If you need to cut back on 401K/IRA contributions to pay off CCs then that is preferable to defunding it and paying tax penalities. For example, let's say you are putting 6% into your 401k and your employer matches the first 3% you cut back to 3% and pay the other 3% on CC balances.

    1. I see what you mean Inlet. Though these people are almost in crisis mode. $15-20k of CC debt making $10-$15 an hour along with day to day needs and what not make it pretty difficult. And I'm young and don't believe in 30 years that money will be there sadly... or worth anything. But you make valid points :)
