GOLD DEVASTATED

Or is there a gold lining?
The scorched earth policy continues for the precious metals trade. New longs convinced to jump on the most recent "bottom" with leveraged positions were slaughtered by the Friday ambush. Running their stops was like shooting fish in a barrel for the boyz. More importantly bullion buying was very strong but an undercurrent of desperation by the Central bankers is evident with capital controls now showing up in many areas to blunt the bullion accumulation. India instituted restrictions on accumulation of gold bullion as did France by stopping the shipment of all forms of gold through the mail. Things are reaching a critical stage if you're trying to find a way to preserve your wealth. Do you time the market and try to ride out the last 10%? Do you go to cash and have a 1930s bank holiday and overnite devaluation of say....50%? Do you own physical bullion and have it in some form confiscated by either direct confiscation or an indirect form of confiscation through capital controls or taxation? Let's not even talk about bonds...Bill Gross squawks enough for all of us on that bizzarro world.

We have truly entered the Twilight Zone. I feel like owning General equities here is playing Russian Roulette with a revolver that has 5 bullets in the chamber. I think with one empty chamber its going to be an uphill battle to win unless I get to go second. Friday was just another repeat of all the other NFP Fridays and should surprise no one. I will admit that watching just how efficient the slaughters are gives me a sick admiration of the cabal and just how diabolical they are. It "almost" makes me want to be on their side until I stop and look at the "other" headlines they are responsible for. Active military conflicts in over 70 countries currently. Tens of thousands of civilians as casualties this year alone and NO main stream media coverage. The entire Middle East in collapse with the exception of a few countries whose dictators we receive complete cooperation from in countries like Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Of course our use of special ops to help these governments to violently quell their opposition goes unreported on our media. We have truly entered the Twilight Zone.

We're still trying to decide what the metals are going to do. Short term EVERYONE is convinced the cartel will hammer the headline gold and silver price short term....maybe even new lows. It still does NOT matter to me. Just because they're on the short trade does not mean that they won't turn this on a dime. Remember its a Twilight Zone and their game is WASH RINSE REPEAT. gl and sorry if your ass needs an ice pack......

    1. The paranoia at the top is out of control. Today's blog hits the questions of what to do? Stay where you are and hope you and your neighbors can make it through, find an isolated bunker spot and hope you can get there, join a cabal bunker and hope you don't end up being collateral from all the psychopaths trying to survive together underground. Expect a series of distractions to try and get the American public off the fact they live in a fascist state controlled by foreign oligarchs.

“Because of that, you see things that may be disturbing but over the course of a normal person’s career you’d only see one or two of these instances. When you see everything, you see them on a more frequent basis and you recognize that some of these things are actually abuses….”

The Cabal “will most certainly kill you if they think you are the single point of failure that could stop this disclosure and make them the sole owner of this information.”

    2. Reading the zero hedge comments on Snowden gives me some modicum of hope....five years ago the same group of responders would have been 60-40 calling him a "traitor"...I realize that "faux patriotism" in the neo conservative ranks is much higher than faux patriotism in the neo liberal supporters of O but at least now we see 97% of the respondents on ZH laud his courage. For myself, I find his act to be one of the most courageous acts I've ever seen in my lifetime!! AND that is NOT hyperbole on my part. He knows FULLY well what his future is potentially and that he can never go to sleep SAFE again

We are told constantly by CNBS talking heads how "unimportant" gold is but then WHY am I watching the spot price of gold rotating every ten seconds with the price of the DOW Oil and SnP on the lower screen of my television???? Think about it.....They spend countless hours mitigating and bashing gold yet EVERYDAY they show its price with the other three " very key market metrics".......Why? Its just a relic....

  9. It's pretty clear where they want you to put your money (real estate/equities/etc.) and where they don't (PMs/ammo/etc.). That should tell us everything we need to know. Unfortunately as Kli & Red point out, that may not be enough to get through a mid-to-worst case scenario...at least not unscathed. I still believe the safest option is a farm/house w/ lots of acreage/mountain land or something like that in the middle of nowhere. The land can provide food through farming, hunting, fishing...fresh water source a necessity. Some protection and buried bullion would also help. Only issue is that very few people have the resources to acquire this. Well aside from the 1%'ers who may have already.

    1. yes....but I take some exception to the statement that "Only issue is that very few people have the resources to acquire this. Well aside from the 1%'ers who may have already". There are MANY areas in states like missouri that you just described with small homes 1200 sq ft....with 20 acres to 40 acres of land for 40 to 80 K TOTAL land and house.....that is VERY affordable for many on here......

      Delete
    2. KLI - Ditto rural western SC and areas of NC, Va, Tn, Ky, etc....

      Delete
    3. Something to take into consideration about bugging out and buying 20/40 acres ect.... If you have lived in an Urban/Suburban setting you whole life what the hell are you going do do with 40 acres? If you don't understand the land your just going to be a fish out of water with a lot of land! It's not like your going to have Inlet or Sheeps as a neighbor to guide you through the learning curve.... Think Red is right stay with what you know at this point and keep tight with family & neighbors and your circle of friends.

  10. Kli, I'm sure there are many areas in the U.S. with affordable land, unfortunately a LONG way from me! I guess I meant to say within easy reach from where I live, CT. For many people living outside of the East Coast and possibly Cali, it's certainly affordable...and these people should JUMP on these opportunities while available.

The market has reached the point of comical, the distortions are becoming so wacky that it's beginning to feel like control is slipping. 17. This Snowden guy doesn't feel right. Look how he is being treated versus Bradley Manning. Brandley Manning trial is going on right now and you hear nothing about it. All I hear in the news is how this Snowden kid is a hero. Its not passing the smell test in my opinion. He is bringing to light programs that have been in place for decades. And why now of all the times to come out? This funny that everyone gets excited when the "defeated" SIPA and SOPA but the "prism" program shows that they have been doing "data mining" far before the "defeat" of these bills. To me that Snowden has been wheeled out now to distract us from the more sinister happening? But it is just a feeling...

One element of using a leak of this information "IF indeed they are using a psyops here" is to instill a sense of BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU. AND don't you forget it. "We're everywhere" and "Resistance is futile".....hehehhehehe.....diabolical and I might add very effective in instilling fear and terrorism....oh wait....aren't they supposed to be "fighting terrorism"........and making us safe....hehehehhee.....pull the plug on the peeps and lets get this rinse cycle going

He has inspired me that in a world where everyone had become self-centered in one form or another, he sacrificed himself for the greater good. He did what what he did because he thought it was right nothing else. And he will pay with his life. That is a real hero!

    1. to fill holes...........lots of holes......... The limiting factor for the fiat ponzi has always been the accumulation of physical by interests outside the cartel. I'm not sure they are terrified by the prospect of this gold moving to the east since they more than likely already anticipated it. They do want to play out the dollar reserve counterfeiting scheme however and holding gold in this range is vital. It will be quite a scene when holders of large amounts of gold (sovereign and private) realize they have been MF'd.... Don't think for one moment that a lot of these entities should have seen this coming. Many are quite ignorant...whether willfully or otherwise. So you see there will be quite an awakening by these parties and it won't be pretty.

    2. Once they wipe out the non-club members' electronic wealth in the next crash and tell them their non-existent allocated vaulted gold will be cashed out at the official gooberment face value rate of $50 an ounce. What are the formally wealthy going to realistically do? Shout obscenities into their cell phone and wait for the Secret Service to pick them up? The surveillance system has been used quite successfully to manage domestic dissent. Notice all the OWS leaders and Anonymous members neutralized and the Tea Party lower ranks audited. Any opposition to the newly forming Fascist Synthesis state from the perceived 2 party system of Thesis (Capitalist Republicans) and Antithesis (Communist Democrats) is thoroughly crushed. The last major fascist synthesis state (The Roman Empire) was weakened by corruption, foreign wars and finished off by Nature and Invaders.

The cartel has mid term plans to get the gold back if Nature does not intervene. In times of conflict and turmoil, sovereigns will raid the wealth of their country for guns and butter (Syria, Greece, Cyprus). It won't take much to push India over the cliff. 200 years of orchestrated conflicts is quite an impressive record.

So write your Congressional Delegation and the President, and then fire up the summer BBQ with their canned responses. Just remember to keep any differences of opinion civil, peaceful and non-violent.

    2. It will be very difficult to take Snowden out along with everybody he's been in contact with over the past 30 days on the public stage. Every document Snowden is planning to release, probably has been already released with a poison pill mass dissemination should he be killed. They might try. The longer this goes on the more likely this will only change the puppet at the top. He is providing documentation of what has only been theorized, and the reasons why. It's now just a game with powerful players picking sides.

    3. the only reason they would take him out now is to "make an example" of him...."they" actually could care less that he has divulged the information given and in fact benefit by the intimidation it creates. "they" rule by intimidation and will react to these events with extreme prejudice.....ie don't just kill him.....they will kill everyone he loves.

      Delete
    4. Yes Snowden is real in his convictions and actions (bright but naive), but without some very powerful support he would have been institutionalized or eliminated before the second meeting with the Guardian and the Washington (cabal) Post. Everything being disclosed is policy. Now the issue of names and stations, no individual is suppose to have a very large piece of the whole picture , the reason for compartmentalization of duties and assignments. So why have groups like the Carlyle Group been able to implement shoddy contracted back office spying? Spying is an essential part of the survival of any State or Kingdom, if the apparatus is impaired the State or Kingdom will fail.

Impacts: the current Administration will be unable to juggle floating the financial Ponzi, waging wars abroad and defending the now openly illegal spying apparatus used to take out political opposition. A loss in market confidence along with a scapegoat.

Haven't quite figured out why now?
