HAIL PRINCE GEORGE

Doesn't it just warm your innards to hear of the birth of another tyrant. After all shouldn't bygones be bygones after the revolution we fought to free us from tyranny. I'm certain this is all coincidence or one might think there was really a conspiracy and this was all conditioned stimulus to make us accept an elite tyrannical class as "normal". Bowing to tyranny is appropriate for the slave class and taking your crumbs for an honest days work as the remaining middle class is swept into a bin for eternity's sake. Never mind the 50 million Americans now on food stamps and never mind that 37% of all working age Americans are now UNEMPLOYED and/or not seeking employment. Imagine that number. Seems somewhat higher than the NFP number we're fed every first Friday of the month. No we're supposed to watch an ENDLESS parade of inbred, pathetic, psychologically diseased, royalty pretend to give a rat's #%$# about the little people while we support their vast wealth with little peoples hard earned sweat. Its's shoved down our throats as if it's OUR Royal family. Imagine the audacity of it all. We had a revolution from the same tyrannical royal family and now its put right in front of our dinner table every night like clockwork. Beating us in the head until we submit to its absurdity. And you dare to say its not a conspiracy?

It almost makes you wonder if the recent slaughter of the precious metals and the miners might have similar puppet strings at work. After all there are people that say there may be some type of connection to these European Royals. Of course that would once again involve some type of conspiracy and we all know that conspiracist are nutjobs and we can't have that.....at least not in a civilized society. On the other hand they do have to make money on both sides of a trade and that's where we are today. Gold is still looking fine technically and MAY have finally bottomed. Today's action is still well within the parameters of a new bull being formed so watch how 1300 holds up. If it breaks below but can't quickly regain 1300 within a day or so....then we are probably going to retest at least the last low. gl and enjoy the George Zimmerman news and the Royal Birth.........because there sure as hell isn't anything else on the MSM.....this game is OVER!!!

I started nibbling on DTO last week, just at breakeven now, but I think oil is going to tumble at some point soon, barring a major event. The PTB won't let it wreck the 'recovery'. China's beginning to look sick btw.

If they keep oil up at this level much longer then Ben is going to REALLY have to try and keep a straight face when he tapers in September and he WILL taper.....controlled tanking of the market so the big boyz can trade it short. THEN Ben will announce that QE DOES WORK as evidenced by the market crash when he tapered.....ouila....BEN is vindicated and he gets to REALLY ramp up QE as the CNBS crowd BEGS for more and more and more

  12. Funny how nature works, as much as one can plan or considers an outcome, nature as it so often does throws you a curve ball, completely buckling your knees as Kli, Joe, Red and others have pointed out on more than one occasion…... My Mom suffered a massive stroke a few weeks ago leaving her just shy of completely paralyzed. She was not in good health, her heart and lungs were tired and any life prolonging procedures were pointless as those procedures would most likely cause her life to end.

We had many conversations that she was living on borrowed time and she, the rest of my family and I assumed she would succumb to a heart attack and the end would arrive quick and compassionately but never a stroke and certainly not the prospect of lingering….. Needless to say this outcome was totally out of left field and completely draining as there are many decisions to be made and wishes to be honored, none of which were easy and certain aspects were rather macabre.

I’m not complaining, I’ve been fortunate to have both my parents for most of my adult life, I will miss her dearly, she was a tough ole bird and thirty six years sober! I guess the point of posting this is somewhat therapeutic for me and illustrates once again as much as we may think we can predict outcomes either us proles or TPTB, in reality we really are all living on borrowed time and are just along for the ride as nature has been and always will be in charge….…..

As for current events jezz where to start, you have the inbred’s covered, what a GRAND SHOW!

What ever happened to west by North West? I guess the Kardashians are getting old and boring but Weiner Gate part II is filling the airways with balls to the walls coverage here in Gotham hehehehe…. Now this is entertainment, what a psychopath and his wife is just as crazy as he is! Can you imagine with all the crap coming out on this guy he is only 9 points behind in the polls for Mayor! NY’ers are Fk’ed up!! (No offence Rudy!)

Hey just keep watching all the BS while the Fed’s are tiring of actually having to work to spy on us now they are outright demanding passwords, over paid lazy bastardzz……

I had never heard of them. This is their profile on Yahoo:

Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, operates as a mineral exploration, development, and mining company. The company’s principal mineral resource property, the Oyu Tolgoi project, is a copper-gold project located in the South Gobi region of Mongolia. It also holds interests in coal resource properties in Mongolia; and molybdenum, rhenium, copper, gold, and uranium resource properties in Australia. The company was formerly known as Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. and changed its name to Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. in August 2012. Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. is a subsidiary of Rio Tinto plc.

I believe that IF the system holds together the miners will be big winners as monetization/deflation/stagflation/inflation support their price move......BUT ...I also believe there is a fair chance that all paper systems collapse and our brokerage accounts etc. are destroyed.....so physical will be the only survivor as an entirely new system resets.....

  33. OK everyone--I listened to the program about Gold on the Financial Sense Radio Show. It was an approximately 45 minute show. Here's my notes (main points).

-Gold should be looked upon as "Insurance against extreme conditions". There is concern that what is presently going on globally will lead to "extreme conditions". Present monetary policy globally is "an experiment".

-only 10-20% of your portfolio in the PM's with a mix of physical metal & mining stocks.

-Gold's present correction has caused "extreme pessimism", but the fundamentals for Gold (bullish) are still there. Risk/Reward is attractive at $1300. 12 month Gold target is $1480.

-even if no Gloom/Doom, Gold can do well.

-what will drive Gold higher? Answer given: Inflation will lead to higher interest rates.

    -governments are forced to monetize.

-Ross Hansen of Northwest Territorial Mint said: "The calculating crowd are now buying Gold in large quantities. These are the very wealthy/smart money people" (Not an exact quote but his overall point)

-Asia is buying Gold and Asians realize Gold is money. The largest transfer of wealth from West is East in recorded history is going on. The Western Central Banks have "no problem" selling Gold so they can make a 40-50 dollar/ounce spread.

-look upon buying Gold Mining stocks as a "Call Option" on their Gold reserves (ie, Gold in the ground)

-many Mining Companies hurt themselves by buying other Gold Mining Companies that had very difficult to mine reserves. The banks were pushing all these mergers to make money.

-some Mining Companies are spending less money on "exploration". This will eventually lead to less Gold supply. (less Gold supply means higher Gold prices)

-Mining Stocks are "way undervalued". Some are presently valued as if Gold is only worth "679 dollars/ounce". Note: Sort of a funny number "679", but that is what he said.

-Mining Stocks will be a better long term Inflation Hedge than the bullion.

So, that is what the various contributors to the show said. I was interesting to listen to, so you may want to listen yourself.

Kli, I hope that you will be able to keep your blog going, but I will understand when that time does come.

  37. For everyone who hasn't read the comment by ‘Null Hypothesis’ through Kli's link for The Oil Drum, do so! It's a very clear, concise, and impactful summary of the frightening situation we are all facing. It’s very easy and tempting to do nothing...to freeze up, to suppress the idea that the world is/will change dramatically for the worse. Unfortunately, that would leave us no better off than the sheeple that are headed for the shearing of a lifetime. Spread the truth and prepare yourselves for the eventual and irreversible outcome. We’re screwed! GL
