Hiding in plain sight and no one even sees it. The "media" doesn't even discuss it or if its brought up, it's dismissed as incidental. It demonstrates a complete breakdown of our democracy and just how impossible our situation really is. We have some discussion how the kleptocrats have imposed their technicians as the heads of governments in numerous countries including Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal et al. After all what do you do when faced with economic collapse, you install a banker to run the bankrupt country. But what about the U.S.?? We have a horrific balance sheet. Of course we see Ben Bernanke calling the shots in a very obvious public spectacle as Congress pays homage to the Banker in Chief of America. We also know they are probing the Eurozone for the "bail in" which is only another plundering of the carrion of the survivors of the first killer wave. It has ZERO effect on the hundreds of Trillions in debt.
What is being completely overlooked closer to home as "recovery" rhetoric continues..... is the loss of Congress' greatest power.....NO not war...that's been gone for many decades.....its the "Power of the Purse". Its one of the strongest checks the balance of power has, and its been GONE for six years. That's right.....so WHO is in control of your tax money and treasury debt that is accumulating in your name. Is it your elected representatives? The answer is obvious and it goes right back to just how far over the cliff we have gone. There is no return. There is no repair. There is only the abyss and before we go there our flesh will be picked clean. As we listen to the daily conditioning by the MSM telling us how important the kleptocrats are and just how lucky we are to have the Jamie Dimons and John Corzines in our "Free Market" system as the regulatory agencies stand back and allow the final feeding frenzy to play out in the bloody shark infested water.
Daily rounds of Carl Icahns eating the Bill Ackmans will become increasingly commonplace as the cannibalism increases in this corkscrew landing. I can't help marveling at just how surreal the landscape has become with the Maria Bartiromos lauding the very parasites the sucked the wealth out of a lot of good people and their futures. These are people that weren't trying to "get rich". These were people that thought they could afford to retire at 65 and be able to afford health care and food. Now some cannot even afford the roof over their head much less health care. So if you believe in Santa Claus then you'll be OK, but if you don't then you may want to consider if we can't even offer a budget by our so-called constitutionally elected representatives, then WHAT are our chances of regaining control of our country.
There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed.
