THE CORRECTION

When, how much, and do you really care anymore? By now you've either figured it out or you won't until its way too late. That's the nature of the Bear. The rule of alternates, if applied indicate this Bear cycle move within the secular Bear that began in 2000 will be the longest and largest move. When Paul Singer, Ray Dalio, and Greenspan tell you the market is about to dump, you had better believe there is a problem. A BIG BIG problem. I doubt that any shorts in the market will collect once the Bear move begins in earnest. Perhaps at first you will be able to trade within the Bear, but volatility and necessity will apply capital controls within the market destroying your ability to collect. The market will wrest any bear profits once the "blood in the streets" becomes extreme. Strategic short squeeze plays may work for some of the most skilled traders, but most paper plays will be slaughtered.

I don't intend to apply any shorts as I did in the 2008-09 Bear but IF I get fortunate and the miners manage to stage a nice move within the early stages of the Bear then I will accept some early profits and convert the paper to distressed hard assets at that point. It may be gold or silver or it may be real estate. You may wish to convert to a solar system or alternate home energy source such as Musk's new battery packs.

On the run still and will be more engaged in 5 days. Best of luck to you and hope you're paying attention to what's going on under you own nose in your own country. gl

  2. I'm with you kli on this one, just relax and let the game play out. those foolish enough to rely on paper assets at this point may have disappointment in their near future then again near is a marginal term for a ponzi so all of us must endure. no worries here and our floor is still awaiting our next visit. have fun this summer and we know you will

  3. Agree about hard assets...at this point, there is no real estate available around here for a depressed price. Hoping I have the cash when this does occur, thinking 2017.
Martin Armstrong is writing that the velocity of money is less than during the Great Depression. In hindsight, they will call this the Greater Depression. When people have no hope of a better life through harder/smarter work, they embrace the freebie life.
Elon Musk has gotten $4.9 billion in government subsidies...see LA Times article...hmmm.

    1. They don't want any class jumping sister, that's what this entire mess has been all about, no class jumping, that and a massive wealth shift/transfer. Too Big to fail turned into Too Bigger to fail which equals Too Small to succeed but they've finally figured out how to turn lead into gold, ain't alchemy and financial wizardry great. Welcome to the dystopian neo feudal welfare warfare kakis/aris/corporo//klep/tocracy And the real kicker is, nobody cares hehehehe.

    2. Yes OH, we are now in a deadly end game as propaganda on the MSM is delivered by the most beautiful, alluring women money can buy. You will eventually succumb as the music is played even more softly as the blade is slid under the rib cage of the sheep class. Not even a whimper from the begging eyes shall be heard. Its all playing out as scripted. See you in the news.

  10. The Tesla home batteries are a rip off for most.

The larger unit is for back up power only...like a diesel power generation. The warranty is for very few cycles a month. Not for time shifting of consumption. Huge money is made on the deal for Musk.

The smaller unit is cool and will collect free photons store them and charge up the Tesla over night...however this is going to cost you a lot. Maybe more than the utility company depending where you live.

most solar deals are not good for the consumer. ..I mean citizen.

    1. I'll take the bait, I have some friends with solar array and they haven't paid any electricity bills in 7 years.....the additional power is bought from utility, they have back up and are buying the Tesla home batteries because they work....

solar is now running par in return to payback vs. Oil....the issue is clean air for our children or your oil loving friends providing more pollution....easy choice for thinkers...

    2. I "think" his point is the Tesla home batteries "may" not be ideal for daily use but more as a "fail safe source". I am not an electrician OR battery expert but the Tesla batteries appeared as an "attractive" alternative to the larger battery systems now in use but I will not buy them without talking to someone I trust first.
