SPEED KILLS

The Law of Nature has a big problem just ahead. Its called speed. Speed kills. The velocity of money that has always been the problem for the elite. Trumpflation is coming. With Trumpflation will come jobs. With Trumpflation will come higher wages. With Trumpflation will come higher costs of imported goods. By the way guess where most of the "stuff" we buy comes from? With Trumpflation will come a declining dollar. With Trumpflation will come an expanding National debt. With Trumpflation will come higher interest rates.

Embry – Criminal Banks & Commercials Now Short A Mind-Blowing Nearly 1 Billion Ounces Of Silver At The Comex!

All of these changes may begin taking place this year, even over the next six months we might see these changes exerting their effects on the real economy. I remember discussing on a Yahoo message board and on this blog that gold and miners were the place to invest after the collapse of 2008. I remember like yesterday stating that gold would do very well in deflation/inflation/WORSENING stagflation. I remember stating we were heading directly into stagflation. I remember stating the only economic environment that gold and miners did NOT perform well in was slow growth AND low inflation. Guess what picture the true power painted. Slow growth and low inflation.

ALERT: Hedge Fund Legend & Multi-Billionaire Stanley Druckenmiller Just Bought Back His Entire Gold Position!

Stagflation indeed occurred and still is in force. What the true power was able to do was create a an illusion of 2% annual GDP and 1% inflation with improving NFP improvement. All of the headline numbers were a lie to create and illusion to maintain the illusion the fiat dollar and other currencies had value and could hold value against the ONLY competing store of value and that was of course GOLD. It worked. It really is that simple. IT WORKED. But at what cost? There's always a cost. In this case the costs were immense but I just want to speak to a couple of costs.

We expanded the debt on our sovereign balance sheets and our private corporate sheets (eg see share repurchases). We blew up our medicare/social security/EBT etc. Promises we can never keep up in the future. We kept the interest rates at zero and destroyed the retirement funds across the nation and made them basically Bernie Madoff Ponzi pumps.

Now we will see the collision of CONfidence loss and velocity of money. Velocity of money will begin this year to increase with Trumpflation. Chaos will precede AND follow this phenomenon. You must have patience this year, but I think in hindsight it will appear to happen very fast this year. gl

    2. I'd like to think I know a little about gold and can see when it's oversold, but your recommendations coupled with some of my gambling money now have me up a total of 17.5%, not bad :) Way to go Kli.

So with the uptick in velocity of money, does that mean inflation or stagflation? Are miners going up lock step with a higher gold price but can they correct at the same time as a major stock market correction?

You're never really UP until you cash your chips in and leave the casino. Just wondering if I ever have an exit strategy to completely exit my trade/gambling account while I am UP as it's harder and harder to compete with printing presses and super computers.

    4. Patience is the key in this market with miners. Look at how they consolidated the past week before this rip. Look at the bull flags I've been posting and now the breakout. You must be patient. Buy physical with your profits.

    5. velocity of money moving is a death knell to the game. It signifies growth in the economy but in this case the debt is so great that as the v increases then the whole game will shut down as interest rates rise. Basically collapse. YOU WILL KNOW the V is increasing by watching prices on commods such as food cars gas oil energy ....YOU CAN TELL.... They know very well this will happen and that is why the "boyz" are moving into gold miners. THEY have to play paper and they don't buy physical. At least for their clients they don't buy.

      Delete
    6. The V in this case will really move as CONfidence is lost in the value of money ie dollar. We have been in stagflation but the growth has really been close to zero not 2%......as Trumpflation begins then the stagflation equation with price changes will be a slaughter for us all. BEFORE hyperinflation hits we will collapse as interest rates are raised and EVERYONE will figure out we are fOCHED. BOOM it collapses. That will be the Harry Dent moment. Down the road a year or two at least

  24. The issue with high level consolidations as compared to traditional pullbacks is that the market can easily run away from you if you do not see the potential break out set up. That is what happened back in early 2016, and we have the set up for a repeat performance here. Everyone is expecting a pullback in miners and metals. If silver breaks over 17.84 watch out because it will rapidly break over 19. yours A

  36. For the week, the predicted resilience of GDX and subs carried through, I mentioned a ‘meh’ pop for 2/8 (I played it anyway), and hopefully you took that as consolidation should occur after. I mention the highest probability moves; there are many others playable that have a different risk profile, discipline wins in the long haul. Remember the premise though, we are in a hard-core uptrend, a red candle like 2/9 is a gift, and the long signal was not long forthcoming – hopefully anyone on the options side has a healthy handful of GDX calls held over the weekend, since we should see more upside the first half of this week coming. We are not far from the time for SPX to take a kick in the gonads (stiff intermediate pullback); GDX will start to follow but then reverse away to ignore SPX to find its way up. There will be great plays off that move, bigger pops than this leg up. As mentioned before, this first leg up was all about dealing with working through technical obstacles to the longer term play, many of those are behind us now, so it gets easier…for a while at least. There are two smack-down shake-outs for GDX; those are later in the year and we will know ahead of time, side-step them and buy at a bargain for swing/options. There is nothing big enough to disturb core in 2017 (maybe the first smack down if you want to micro-manage). This is shaping up to be a great trading year; my suggestion is avoid any of the other sectors for a while (swing), with upside being the sucker buy from here forward – you will give it all back and more in time to come. I mentioned several weeks ago that the Qs were the only index with easy room to run with the rest of the sectors contributing to an overall trade’s market, it is not an emergency to get out of tech, but start to ease your way toward the exit over the next couple weeks if you have anything of size. All is looking good, have a good weekend.

  37. The biggest mistake to make in this new bull market is to underestimate the rise in these coming moves. As each knockdown occurs, the preconditioned retail/hedges will revert to their bear beating over the previous 4 year period from 2012 to 2016 and sell out of their core positions. They will find out way too late that prices will recover much higher and more quickly than they can imagine. Worse will be those that flush on the bottom of the corrections just to save their small profits. enjoy
